Just got this call.... no one there. Not good as Son currently in Australia and had me panicking it might be him needing to call me... Not good feeling!

Same thing number called twice today and silence both times.

don't these companies have anything better to do than waste money on a call of silence??? I do !!!!

This number has just called me, asked to speak to a name from an address that was the same surname as me and my street, but obviously not me.

Indian (or Asian at least) call centre, he was apologetic though when I explained he had the wrong number.

Two calls from this number, answered both but silence from other end.  Just found this site and it has answered my concerns.  As I have a number display, I will not bother answering in future.  Many thanks.

Had this number call us a number of times now but it hangs up with no speech

This is the third time this week this number has called. It is the same girl's voice each time. She doesn't seem to realise what an answer machine is though - or perhaps its too quiet for her to hear? Not sure, but quite hilarious dialogue:

1) Our telephone rings.
2) The answer machine cuts in: "This is an answer machine, please leave a message"

3) Hello...Hello?...Hello is this Mrs...?

4) She hangs up.

Quite what that was all about, who knows?

A silent call from this number. I am on TPS!

Tis company have been ringing at the same time every day this week. The odd thing is they always want to speak to one of my in-laws, which is strange as we don't live with them. When I tell them they've got the wrong number they say things like "I'm sure you could help me" or they ask for the correct number. It annoys me because my father in law is elderly, is currently being tested for alzheimers and also partially deaf which means that companies ring him offering to send him things in the post and he agrees even though they are aware he can barely hear them. They then send him bills demanding money a few weeks after they've sent him whatever item it was and because he hates owing money and hasn't remembered to send the unwanted item back he ends up paying the bills. These people seem to target the elderly and women in particular (I've noticed they give up on my husband a lot quicker!) but if they think I have nothing better to do then listen to them they will have a surprise!

Have received numerous calls from this number but we never answer them.
Our phone comes up with the name /number calling us , so we can screen our calls if we want to.
Soon as I saw this one I thought it looked moody and ignored it.
We have all had calls from this number , but we are none the wiser as to who is calling or more importantly - what is the scam !
Anybody have any more information ?

Just got a call from this number - fortunately my phone shows the number before I pick up, so I didn't.

Just had a silent call from this number at 16:49 so I put the number into "Google" and was very interested to find this site where others obviously have the same problem.

Why are these people allowed to waste our important time in this way?

Just got another call.... silence... 2nd call in a matter of weeks.

we're getting hit three or four times a day from them, seems to be an indian call centre claiming to be doing "market research". Don't know how, but somebody needs to get this nipped in the bud as it seems to be an attempt to avoid the TPS scheme

we've had calls from this number 4 times today, 4 times yesterday and on several other days since the new year. Most of the time it's a dead line, but a couple of times there have been real people on the other end (eventually). Told in no uncertain terms the second time they called today that they were not to call again, and I've just taken today's 4th call from them...

Had about 6 calls from this number today and also some last week.  I just let it ring now but it is very annoying and worrying.  Must do something about it.

had 3 or 4 today from this number answered first time saying im not interested and hung up then 4th time i told them to stop phoning and i had already said im not interested

These idiots are getting on my nerves.
Calling all the time with their autodialler and there is never anyone on the other end. They need sorting out!

Another call today. Same street, different house number, same surname, different first name.

Strange.
