called, connected when answered then hung up

Call received yesterday morning, a lady with a pronounced Asian accent. Said she had had a report that my computer had some kind of virus. I kept her hanging about for about ten minutes before announcing that nothing she was saying seemed to be working, possibly because I had a Mac and not a Window PC, there was nothing wrong with my computer and I knew what she was up to. She hung the phone up very quickly after that

Foriegn company asking to get access to your computer because its infected, ignore its a loud of rubbish they couldn't understand anything I said

Received this call today after two hang-ups on their part - Third call, He said 'Hello I am from BT how are you today' !!  I told him I was unwell and he had disturbed me from my sleep.  He just continued on as if I hadn't spoken so I put the phone down.

this caller rang three times..then a recorded message saying goodbye.

These sods call me on a regular basis. I have been signed up with the TPS pretty much since it started so I am fortunate to not get many but these guys call pretty frequently and ask for me by name.

Caller says he is ring re my Norton Antivirus. When i say i haven't got one on my computer hey hang up.

you're too polite - give them a load of abuse they cannot expect anything else fraudulent [***] who the hell do they think they are scamming innocent people

I've had a few missed calls from this number to my house in the last few days. Answered today some guy in an Indian call centre claiming to be from BT about my Internet connection.....NOT A CHANCE..... Very dodgy!!!!!!!!!

i get at least 4 silent calls from this number every day, it is really annoying

I'm sick of the b******s, between 4-8 calls a day! Need to know how I can block it.

I have been called almost daily from this number for the last week and not heard anyone when I have answered. Isn't there anything anyone can do to stop them after so many years?

I've had this one call every day for 2 weeks. Apparently he's from Norton. He clearly isn't! He wanted me to go into all my settings etc. I can only assume so he could remotely access my computer.

Just had a call from this number, indian accent claiming to be from Norton and telling me that I had downloaded viral programs that would allow my security details to be compromised. They wanted to take control of my computer to fix the problem. When I told them that my son is a computer engineer and that I would get him to look at it, they hung up!
