0011142001

Hi,
I've worked in telecommunications for years and instantly recognised the number as from the USA. Not sure who would be calling from the US I answered only to hear my mother, who is in New Zealand. I am in Australia. The call was being re-routed through a US exchange. Problem is, the prefix 420 is what is known as unassigned, which basically means government or military internal code. My take on it is that Telstra, who has admitted signing up to the NSA's PRISM spy program, is allowing incoming international calls to be passed through the PRISM filters in the US, then routed back to the recipient.

I had a call from this number at 8.30 pm on 07/10/13 from a man who has scammed me for money so please beware - his name is Raymond Robert Miller and he says his an Australian citizen but he's a very good liar.

I keep getting a missed call from this number. Everytime I try and call back its disconnected.
I'm not too sure what to do apart from ignore it.

Have received over 20 calls in the last 3 days I have not answered but when I call it back it says the number is not connected ????? Thus is so dodgy how can I stop it for good it's very frustrating.

So have I!!! Thats so strange. She has called me once per day everyday for 3 days straight. I cant understand her. The number that comes up is 00111(420)01.

I got missed call from this number at 9.03am.
Wierd number only rang once.

After I checked in my facebook but a message popped up said my account was hacked by someone in Chicago, then I got this call, same number. I just changed my facebook password and check this number on the net then I found this site! Whats going on?

Just got a call from that same number....have no idea. Picked up, made some rustling noises, then hung up.

I received a missed call from 011143001 and then a minute later received a call from this number (0011142001) on 19/02/2014 at about 8:30pm. Tried to call back and number not connected. Random! This has happened a couple of times recently from afew different numbers.

These are just calling Cards. my mother uses on to call me from NZ. I had a missed one this morning and did not know who it was until she called back.

also received a call from this number- i have answered but there were silent, thats why i thought it pretty strange and google it-turns out i'm not alone:(

Hi I have missed 2 calls answered one - they told me I won a trip to Florida and somewhere else! apparently I put in for it on line - I didn't, he the American sounding mid twenty's guy  on the phone then went on to ask me questions and then straight to asking me about my credit card details - then I decided I had enough and said good buy, he went on to say its my only chance to claim,
its a scam
give out zero details about your self, zero details about you bank details

florida and the bahamas? i just got same call!

I had two calls today, 30 May 2014 from 011143001 at 10:50 and another from 0011142001 at 07:03. Phone only rang once.  Going to go into Telstra to see if they know anything about them, or how to stop them.

Just got woken up by a phone call at 7 am from this number. Didn't answer as it looked strange. Was curious enough to call it back but it was disconnected.

Just now, 0011142001 called. 1:15pm, Western AU time. I was on another call, so didn't pick up. No message left. I didn't call back as it's such an odd number.

Some here are saying it's a calliing card. Scammers using calling cards?  Hmm...Still, if it were a scam, why would they not answer for those who actually picked up?

Seems odd that there's so little info on this.

This morning (AU) I awoke to find that the 8GB SD card in my galaxy S3 had somehow been wiped or formatted with "an unrecognised file system". After taking the card out and re-seating it, the issue persisted.

At 7.20 am (30 mins later) I noted that I had a missed call from this number - no message was left.
The SD card / phone have been good together for over 12 months. Weird that I should have a missed call from this number seemingly minutes after the SD card in my phone seems to have failed.

Coincidence? I have no idea, but odd nonetheless.

Received call and didn't answer - a few people say this is calling cards. Wonder if it could be related to car ad on Gumtree (ie: scammers ringing to say they'll buy it). If it is calling card, I'm guessing it is scam related. Unless it is my long lost Aunt from China wanting to leave me all her money as she is on her death bed... hmmmm, maybe I should pick up...
