received a missed call just now on my mobile10.37am AEST 15 Sept 2010. Dialed the number and my
'3' mobile phone network said it was a connection error as it would not dial this number. I turned the phone off for 30 min just in case it had somehow hooked into my phone line and was trying some scam.

I received a call from this number about an hour ago and it was a woman with an Indian accent who said she was calling from London (I'm in Sydney) to test some sort of new phone technology, or something like that. I hung up in case she started asking for money or credit card details. Mine is a silent number so I don't know why they even had it.

dont answer.... you're being charged premium rates... scam....

an indian guy called me this morning on this number saying he was james parker from bank reclaim experts.. apparently im owed $3140,, i only have to ring Edward Colin on 02-80060360 with some information.. then pay $200 at the post office to recieve my money.. its a scam please be careful.. i too have a private number,, how do these people get our numbers??

I got two calls from this number claiming to be Windows Service saying that there was a malicious program causing problems on my computer. I was immediately suspicious asking for a caller name who used my last name as their own. I then asked for an address and it was fake as the caller stated that they were from Australia and the caller ID on my phone was saying overseas. I reported this to Microsoft who claim that they have had a number of complaints about this and stated that they do not do call outs to customers - so beware and hang up on them if they call your number.

Stop calling me!!

I received several blocked calls which I don't answer then finally one with this number showing. Information Contact Services. Pretended initially to be official surveyors then tax specialists. There's a huge thread elsewhere on this site on ICS and their tactics.

My partner called me from a payphone fro, the US and this is the number that showed up.

Yep, we've had three or four calls a day from this number for the last week..  Not silent; it leaves a fax type beeping noise on our answering machine.  I tried calling it back but got the same fax beep..  Annoying, especially when I'm trying catch up on sleep!

I answered the call then waited for the other end to start talking. There was silence and a slight crackle on the line. After a few seconds the call went dead.

this number has been ringing me flat a guy with european south american accent arounfd 30's is making  a scam about an ebay purchase saying depositing the money into my paypal account all i have to do is western union money transfere of $1600 to a uk account and my money will be released.
The paypal payment confirmation looks quite geniuine so be cautious.  Click on your refference number and it should go to your item in this case it does not. Be carefull!!!

Thanks for all this info guys....I just got home to find a missed call from that number, I had a friend in Canada a while back, and realised they're number also started with 0011, then I thought, they don't have my house number. Glad I searched before I called it back.

have people stopped gettin calls from this number? or i am still getting calls from this number.though i realise its a scam

my boyfriend is being scammed by a british ex girlfriend (we are aussie) this 0011342101 number is what she sent him claiming it is her number.
her name by the way is natalie ferranti- donavellas.
unfortunately for both of them im alot smarter than i look.

it is a scam, it is some one saying they are from a computer servicing company and that there has been several reports of slow windows operations in your area. They want you to turn on your computer, then they will scam your details then wipe your computer, taking all your info including bank details etc. I have just had 2 calls in 1  hour both times I laughed at them and hung up

Just got a call from this number, it sounded like an Indian accent but they knew my name and said they got my number from a friend? I hung up and they proceeded to call another two times (both of which I rejected) and left 2 voice messages, both of complete silence? WTF!
