Caller "John" with an Indian accent offering free electricity!  I told him I was in a conservation area and not allowed to put solar panels on the roof.  He kept saying that the building wasn't "listed" and obviously has never heard of conservation areas.

Eventually I told him to get off the line as I wasn't interested and was also registered with TPS.

Mumbai lady asked could she speak to the householder ?

Hi Its a way of getting around the block calls sytem in the uk the number is still a uk one just it starts 001144.

Here is one i got. 0011441252670222. The true number is 01252670222. just remove the 001144 and replace it for a 0. The call companys are getting good but i caught them out as i have been keeping a log of calls. On my line i have unwanted calls and blocked numbers but the way they get around it is to make the call from outide the county then they can still contact you. But ofcom have been informed. If anything is done about it is a different thing.

Same number as others 0011441234565472.  Calling my elderly mother no answer when I said hello.  Can nothing be done about these calls?.  Had one the other day saying they were from Nationwide, someone with an Asian accent, saying that my mum had had a car accident 3 months ago, She doesn't even drive.  Called Nationwide and I formed them. These scams make me so mad!!!!

someone called today left no message. the number was 001144 1223 689124, I am also on TPS and ex directory,but I still get these nuisance calls

Have been getting calls from 0011441123005. They hang up when I announce "Cheshire Police. Paul speaking. How can I help you?"

Received call this evening from 0011441892711155 from someone with an Indian accent. Said he was calling from Call Protect and making claims that "we block all the unwanted calls that you have been receiving" and wanted to confirm my details before giving me more information. They knew my surname and some of my address and the postcode and wanted to confirm my fist name and other details. I was very suspicious, had a lot of phone scams in the past. The Do Not Call Register does not call people registered with their service!! I queried the phone number and he said he was calling from Melbourne (that's not even an Australian number).

I’m getting so sick and tired of these calls.  This number called 001144207452921  I won’t answer If I do not recognise it .  The call rang out with no message left.

They’re getting to me now too. Purporting to be calling from BT about to terminate my internet service - press 1 for this, press2 for that. It’s beginning to upset my 93 year old mother.

I do answer the calls and as soon as someone is on the other end I blow a referees whistle as hard as I can and hang up. Calls are def getting less.

Only because you can no longer hear the phone ringing. Doesn't do one thing to the person on the other end though.

They called us at 5.55 am. Got us both out of bed as we have a sick relative and are  very anxious. Really annoying
