this caller rang me today 11.25am saying he was called jake and that he's from the pc tech. Just tell them where to go as it is a scam to get your money. They tell you that your computer has got a virus, etc. etc. The first time I got one of these calls saying I had a virus on my pc, I said "that's good because I don't have a pc, you must have a laptop then and that will have the virus". What a plonker.

I received a call yesterday, this man claimed he was ringing about my BT Broadband and the PC I am using, I'm not with BT so instantly knew it was a con and I hung up, dialed 1471 and the number was 001200.

Just received a call a few minutes ago it was quiet when I answered then I heard this man say hello, judging the background noise I correctly guessed it was either telesales or this scammer again.  I hung up straight away dialed 1471 and again 001200.

Do these fools ever give up???

I have had a call from this number today. They said that they were from PC Tech. They knew my name and ip address. The story I was told was the same as others on here. They has identified that I had a virus and that my machine would be working slower. When I said it was fine the caller became quite aggresive saying that I would have serious problems with my computer if I did not do anything.

Just ignore this 002100 number when they contact you,
Firsly, it is almost as easy as anything when it comes to obtaining people's details for as long as you pay a fraction of £100 - £150 to any agency from 192.com to DVLA or some rogue credit agencies when you have a registered data accessing business, that is why this car park companies, clampers or third party agencies could spell your names correctly.

This guy from 002100 called my partner at 17:46hours today and said our computer contains some virus and runs slow which is complete nonsense, then my partner passed the phone to me and he said the same to me, instructing me with command to plug in the computer for him to run some series of tests when i told him that the PC was not connected and off.
Anyway, i said that we have not been able to locate the charger for two days now and therefore could not put on the PC.
People, this guy said to me, 'Go and look for the charger, I will wait !.... What a liberty. My reply was, why are you very interested in this PC business ?, and he replied, because your PC has virus.

Well, i told him to call back on Monday and he was quick at giving me a time of 10:00hours which i accepted but what he does not know is that he has met his match, because i will do exactly whatever he says on Monday while pretending to be on the PC, give him fake coordinates until he gets frustrated and calls it a day

When i asked him what it is that keeps popping up he didn't have a clue!!! Also denied having ever said it! I'm sure he said he was from lytech (lie-tech sounds about right!!) Basically told him not to ring again.

Just had a call from this number, was quiet for ages so put on loud speaker to waste their money.  Eventually they said hello, a male with a strong possibly African accent.  started to ask about my computer and mentioned Microsoft.  I immediately said why do you continue to make these calls when we all know they are a scam.  He continued to argue saying how do I know its a scam, advised him you just have to google their number and there is lots of information about them, all exactly the same.  He continued to treat me like a moron so just put the phone down.  Total idiots but feel sorry for anyone who might fall for this scam.

Got a call today 8th September 2012 from 0012006252067322 at 7:28 pm Lisbon time. As I do not know anyone who owns such a phone number, I just ignored the call and let the phone ring. Then I googled the number and found 0, but when I tried with just the first numbers 001200 I got to this page, and decided to report the case.

This number called at 6;49 this morning and hung up when I answered. I thought it would be the hospital telling me the worst about my mum. What is wrong with those people? Don't they have a code of conduct that at least limits the time when they bother people?

I also get these calls quite a couple of times now... Same story. Also from 001208. They don't always talk to you... Just hang up. Maybe to find out if one is home? How can one trace and report this?

from the times the called me, I learned one thing: their voices are manipulated by computer to disguise it.

Just received the same call but from a woman claiming to be part of a technical department, she has called me on 2 of my separate office lines and as she asks " Are you the owner of the PC" my reply is obviously from which department or company are you calling from? She promptly hangs up…..

I see this started in 2011 and can't believe that in 2014 this is still going on
