they phoned me today talking about a loan i had taken out in 2003 (which, to my knowledge, I didn't).  Every time I asked them a question about the loan, they had sketchy information but were very pushy.  They had my name, address and phone number.  When I pushed them to explain exactly what loan they were talking about, they hung up.  So if they were for real, they wouldn't have done that.  Now I am worried.

Just got a call on an office phone - asked for me by name, well what almost sounded like it anyway, but told him he had the wrong number and hung up.  Background noise was of a call centre.

had a call from 0012345 claiming to be tech doctors saying they wanted to refund some money to my account and wanted  my card details when i refused they tryed to pursaude me saying if i didn't give them this info they could not refund me the money. i hung up on them to contact the bank and they kept ringing me back before i could ring the bank. manage to dial the bank and confirmed no money had been taken from my account.got a call from the0012345 number who still tried to get my card details when i refused they then started toverbally abuse me and were sayiny that i had been ripped of by the indians

They were calling me yesterday. I picked up the phone thrice and there was a lot of noise. They were saying HELLO HELLO but I did not respond to first see who they were.I realized it is a prank and added the number to the reject list. I will not get the ring but I will know how many times they tried reaching me, They called 40 times. 30 calls were there between 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM. They tried reaching at such odd hours desperately. Now when I see on the net, it really turned out to be hoax and gud that I have added it to reject list. They also tried reaching me through 00966580862274 at 3 AM in the morning. As my phone was on silent, thankfully i had a good night sleep.

i got a call from dis number last december..they had a complete detail about my whereabouts n my family...d person on call seemed to knew me..3am in mrng an i was sleepy so just hunged up...now d person cal if evry now n den...thank god...i did not talk to him about anythng...plz avoid dis type of number..

Just had a call from this number and whoever it was hung up as I answered.

Caller said I was due refund from Microsoft told them if I was due anything from anyone I would deal with it myself.
Assume number is simple to attract call back from unsuspecting.

They're still around, got a call five minutes ago, wanted my bank details so they could refund me cash. Gave them a fictitious number of course.  This may be related to an incident some weeks ago, when three bags of recycling waste went missing from my front gate. No sign of scattered rubbish, so not foxes. I look forward to hearing from then again!

Download truecaller it will block any number u wish. Had a call from them today. I said hello but they hung up. Very noisy in the back

I was making an online purchase through Zalando and when the payment procedure came to card verification the screen reverted to "My Bag".  2 minutes later I have a phone call from 0012345 purporting to be MBNA, my credit card company saying that they thought a fraudulent transaction was being made on my account and could I confirm that it was me making the purchase.  I declined to give any information and hung up.

Just had a call on the landline. This call looked suspect from the start as the number seems to be a strange format. As soon as I heard that it was a recorded message, I hung up but I managed to hear it say that it was a fraud alert for me (they obviously have my name and number from somewhere). Sounded like a hoax.

I have received a call from 0012345 and they said to me that its a Govt number and some time lady is talking from my number and then she's change and that girl leaved her home too I am seriously in stress that I am the student of Fsc Part 2 and I given exam too and that call make me in Shock that what's the problem

It's not a government number it's a scam number.  Either switch your 'phone off or block the number or ignore it.  Do not let it stress you.

Recorded message saying suspicious activity on my Virgin credit card ( which I do have ). Wanted me to input my dob so I put in a false one, which it rejected & then transferred me. Held for a while to music, with a lady saying " manage your account online at www.mbna.com ", so this may be genuine, but I got bored of waiting & hung up.
