Can i just warn people to not call this number back.  I think it is a scam i heard about a few years ago.  It was mentioned on BBC Radio 4.  
If you call it it sounds like it is ringing but in reality you've been put straight through to a recording of a phone ringing.  
What has really happened is that you are being fully charged per minute because you're actually through to a to a premium rate call. So please don't call it back.  :0)

I was called by this number at 1:26 am , I was woken up and immediately thought somethink awful had happened to my family, I have calls during the day also and there is no one on the other end when I answer.

We got at a call at 1.50am this morning, woke the whole family. It rang 4 times then stopped. I'm already with the telephone preference  service TPS, which is hopeless at stopping these calls which until now I get throughout the day or evenings, but never in the early hours of the morning. I even went ex directory but its made no difference. Who is this company? they shouldnt be allowed to hide behind a fake number and someone must be able to do something to stop them!

Received a call from 0012345678 today no answer.

Called saying they were from Sky and that our sky card was due to run out.  Wanted dob and bank details to send a new one!!  Obviously a con.

Got this number today at 12:20 said they were from sky and my viewing card would run out in a week. wanted personal details. Said they would send out a letter for me t reply to when I refused to give them anything.

Has to be a scam.

Just had a call from 0012345678 I answered and it played music. I didnt hang up and then a foreign lady said "I am from SKYTV" and your digicard is expiring. She said they needed to confirm my date of birth to send out a new digicard. Obviously I refused and she hung up.

Just had exactly the same happen only it was a he that hung up!

Call allegedly from Sky to say we needed a new card which they would send but they needed our bank sort code?

ivew just had a phone call from 0012345678 they said they was from sky tv and are about to send out new sky cards and could i give them my direct debit details to update there records OVER THE PHONE NOT R**dY LIKELY yet another scam

Just had a call from this number when answered no one spoke so just held the the phone and said nothing more . Then got put on hold then phone rang once and an aisian sounding lady asked for the person who used to have my number . (Regenerated number thanks BT you bunch of winkers ) told her p..s off and she hung up .......was it some thing I said I wonder? .

called my business over 12 times in a row, getting very offencive and rude, both a man and woman of with stong indian accents, in the end, after telling them to fu*k off several times, i answered the phone and didnt speak! seamed to do the trick as they eventually hung up and havent called since....!

Said that he was from accident claims company, had I had any accidents

I am really really annoyed, I own my own catering company and get constant calls from this number throughout the day. Today I have had calls, when I asked them yet again to remove me from their database (I have spoken to "Manager" and several callers), I was accused of talking to them like they were my servant and she did not work for me (yet wants to sell me products). They then proceeded to call back four other times with all abuse calling me "m*therf*****" "cheaper than a cheap call girl" and more disgusting and dirty obscenities that I would prefer not to mention. Needless to say this has deeply upset me and completely offended me, I cannot change my business number for obvious reasons, but is making me worried to answer the phone!

Indian sounding chap claimed to be calling from the registration dept of the Road Traffic Authorities. I hung up.

Just had a call from this number asking to speak to owner. Was polite at first then started shouting saying the electric bill hadn't been paid for 7 months!! Kept shouting saying where was owner! He hung up eventually , all bills are up to date but made me think if i was elderly i could be conned!

She then said she need to update her records and then read out my correct home address.
She then asked for my date of birth which I refused to give, she then cut the call off.
