this number calls me frequently and tries to obtain my address, when i question them what they want it for the line goes dead.

This number calls me repeatedly. It’s a scam

This number seems to denote that it is a Skype call and could be from anywhere in the world. Treat it with a degree of scepticism.

Agree with above, believe it's a call from someone using Skype

Meter number scam call, they disguise their number using 'Voice over Internet Protocol', firstly an Indian lady called on *705 and mentioned 'meter readings' so I hung up, then she called again from a number in 'California' asking why I'd hung up on her, so I hung up again, very annoying, I work on a busy switchboard at the head office of a company, they obviously target us because we own a number of properties so I get about three of four a day of this type of call.

A few people talking about invitation for webinar event. Repeating about receiving any email webinar registration and URL for the online webinar. It could be genuine or a spear phishing trying to social engineering.  Should anyone to test the Genuity of the links provided, please do not use production PC or your personal devices with sensitive data.
