Got a call from this number.  Have no idea why.

Same here... no idea who or why. was about 6hrs ago

I've had this number call 3 times now, once just a few seconds ago. (once on the 6th and once 8th June) Wondering if it could be a scam of some kind!

Says from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island

I received called from this number,i wondered this number of from foreign or some one using ot from inlands

Have had 4 calls from this number in last 5 days since cancelling a service with O2....coincidence? or maybe not :)  I havent answered any of their calls.

Just received a call from this number, a person called Depark from Yougroup <sp>
Asking about if i have claimed ppi refund, told him i had already claimed it, he then tried it on credit cards, mortgages and was incredibly persistant...  told him i wasn't interested, so he asked if my husband was interested, I said I don't have a husband, so he asked if a partner was interested, said i didnt have one of them either, so he asked if anyone else in the house was interested. I said he was welcome to try the dog and I would put him on the phone.
So basically... don't bother answering the call.

Someone called on this number....Another company trying to get me to claim back payment protection insurance. number came up on mobile 1st then home phone went. Asian sounding male voice. just said sorry not interested and put the phone down before he went into the usual guff!

Sorry forgot to add when callerdisplayed on mobile it was tagged from Nova Scotia , Prince Edward island. What sort of trick is that to get someone to answer?

Have had several calls from this number ... must be costing them a fortune ... wondered if it was a long lost relative or a travelling friend in trouble ... but thanks to all your comments I'm happy to delete the number in the safe knowledge that it has saved me at least one "can we claim your PPI for you" unsolicited phonecall.  Thanks all ... and ps does anyone know how to get the number reported or blocked?

I have been getting missed calls from this number for weeks I have black listed it every time, but still they call,

I am fed up with this unknown number calling from from Nova Scotia. Would like them to stop.

Just had a call from this number asking if ppi had gone into my bank yet. I told them I've never had a loan and didn't need ppi and hung up.
How did these regards get my number???

Had a call from this number today, I answered and after a few seconds of silence the line went dead, they haven't tried to call back as yet but now I know what to say when/if they do  ;o)

Unsolicited call. Nusiance. Ignored it anyway.

hey im in the uk and have recieved a call from this number. the person asked for my brother to which i replyed he gave me the phone and can they delete my number off the database. a foreign lady then started with im calling about ppi and again i said im not interested and to delete my number. how do these idiots keep getting my number??

Hi, I've just had a horrible set of calls from this number today. It was obviously an unsolicited sales call from India, so when they asked to speak to my parents I just told them "sorry we don't take these kind of calls, bye" and hung up. But omg they actually called back immediately after I hung up! That never happens! A guy who called himself Ron started remonstrating about how I had hung up without telling him when my parents would be home. He was arguing with me for tens 15 minutes flat. I  kept asking what the name of the company was and he refused to give it to me, demanding to know when my parents would be home again and again. I felt harassed. I told him that I will track down the company and report them. I hung up and they proceeded to call again, but I didn't answer. I've been left quite shaken by the whole thing, I never thought those annoying sales calls could turn near abusive.

You can bet that's where the call was coming from. UK call centres? Not a chance.
