I just got a call from the number 002015324153. A bloke with such a strong accent I could hardly understand what he was saying and he couldn't pronounce my husband's name at all. He had the nerve to ask if I understood  English so I retorted that I did but he wasn't speaking it. I told him we were listed with thr Telephone Preference Service, just in case he was calling from the UK, he announced he wasn't afraid of that and I could report him to who I liked. That indicated a foreign call so I hung up, did 1471 and to my total amazement got the number. So here I am, reporting it. He was a very insolent 'illegitimate male'.  !!

Had a call from this number,00201 today. Said he was calling from microsoft and problems had been reported on my computer.
I told him I did not have a computer, he then started calling me a liar and saying that my name, address and computer licence
number were on his file. Why o why do we have to put up with these calls.

got call from 00201 claiming to be microsoft something insisting there is people trying to hack my computer to switch on and follow his instructions immediately. this is not true my computer is fine but if i let him he would be the one hacking it fell for that couple of years ago when they claimed to be from windows.

The 00201 or whatever, is either a dummy, or the only part of the number our telephone system recognises. As 99.9% of these scam calls originate abroad, it's not a surprise that's all you get.

With the advent of VOIP you program the call to say it's coming from absolutely anywhere, when in fact it's originating from a scammer. So most of these numbers aren't genuine anyway.

got a missed call today from 00201222110545, they called back and i thought it might be a friend from egypt and answered, female asked for ?selma? so i hung up. then from 07447944922 male asked for ?selma? so i hung up again, male called again so i answered and left it off the hook until he hung up. mine is a 'pay as you go' so they can't steal  any payment.

I got a call from +20 115 818 6279 this number. I don't know who is this. I want to know about Thais. If anyone can help me please help me.

Early morning calls . Thought my relatives abroad but when called back  asked who is this " who is missing"

We got 10 calls from 0020196398376 May 18th. A bit disturbing thinking about the airline problem yesterday.

this no 002011644312 called this am in the UK and after the usual delay as we receive many of these type calls as being a Talktalk customer who was in the batch of data stolen and sold by call centre employees in India last year now receive calls from Ghana and other countries, but sometimes number is withheld as well so can never tell.  I have hung up on them, delayed and wasted time, confronted them and still the calls come.   TalkTalk says they block the numbers buts seems this scam has been happening for years.   I was even suggested a pay to block site from TALKTALK but no i am not paying no's into.   Sadly even leaving TT will not stop the info i think.

I received a call today at 6.57pm from someone who said he  was from a company to do with getting nuisance calls as we are on their  list not to receive any.  He gave me my details to which I was to say if  he was correct or not, this I did then he asked me about my bank card the long number etc. I refused. He asked why I said I had no intention to give out these details, to which he started to raise his voice saying why did I answer all his other questions & I was wasting my own time.  I asked him why he was raising his voice he repeated I answered all the other questions I repeatedly asked him  not to raise his voice and he ignored me I then asked him his name several times which he refused to give me he just kept repeating the above at that point I pressed  my delete/off button on my phone and heard no more. Has anyone received any calls like this if so how did you deal with it?

Got  a call today from 002014948215 but didn't answer has have had a lot this week on 001 numbers pretending to be BT (British Telecom) ringing about my computer.  Some even new my surname but soon put the phone down on me when I told them I knew they were not BT.  Cannot understand how these calls are getting through as  I have unwanted call blockage with BT.
