Another call from Asian guy saying he's from savers club representing major brands. Knew my name & said he wanted to ask a few questions. When I said I wouldn't answer any questions he hung up. Whereas previous calls have registered as international on my phone, this was unavailable.

The usual Indian accent. Sick of these tw4t$ calling almost every day. Have told them to remove me from their data base and don't call me ever again. Waste of time. I might as well have told them to phone me more often.
I'm registered with TPS so they are breaking the law by calling me at all.

As overseas scammers using a spoofed UK number, do you think they are the tiniest bit bothered about breaking the Law? Particularly when that "law" only means that TPS (if you complaIn about the call to them, giving the company's name and address) will simply pass the complaint on the the ICO.

This same man, ringing from Egypt (0020 code), with a different name every time, used to ring me every day and say 'I phoned a couple of days ago but you were busy, my name is -------- and I am from the Savers Club, I am carrying out a short survey etc.'. He seems to get pleasure out of annoying people, so being rude or hanging up will not stop him. The best thing is to buy a very loud whistle, keep it by the phone and blow into the phone when he rings. That will stop him as he obviously has a headset on and cannot escape from that easily. This is a good investment for any nuisance calls.

More of the same over the last couple of weeks. I now state that I will not answer their questions & turn TV on & put phone by TV. I get on with my life without interruption. I am considering saying that I am not the person they are asking for but will get them, leaving our caller hanging on indefinitely. I do not know how they have my name but am not prepared to find out.

As always an asian accent, wants questions answered. I always say no or something more forceful to that effect  and hang up.
Had TPS for years but is useless so have taken on 'Choose and Refuse' to block these but I resent paying BT £4.15 a month or nearly £50 a year to block a constant barrage of calls from scammers  and time wasters. Just hope it proves useful

Any Asian voice I don't answer but don't put the receiver down.  I hope this delays them making another call and more costs to them.

Don't think this is solving much but makes me feel better.

This is a scam. Same story as all the others. I am registered with TPS!

i hate these calls,so i bought a bt 8500 telephone and it screens all my calls,never bothered by them now

long and tiring at the end asking for bank details!

Unanswered call from this number @ 16.18 on 6th August 2015.

Indian guy phoned me yesterdat said he was from the savers club and last time he phoned I was busy ask when that was and he said last week .  I told him that was strange as I had been in India for 4 weeks and only got home 2 days ago !  He hung up.

These people call me 2 or 3 times a day
