just got 2 phonecalls from a number 00209 tried poning it back but number not recognised does anyone have any idea who it could be??

Yes its a scam, they tell you there is a fault with viruses on your computer and then arrange to fix it (for a fee). I just challenged one and said" well that is funny, you tell me it is definitely my computer with the problem but I dont have one, so you are operating a scam" - his reply was, "how am I to know who owns the computer, idiot".and down went the phone. I may be an idiot but it was him who wasted a phone call. Like you say it is impossible to get back to them. I am afraid they just make up more of the scum from abroad we are getting contacting us. Funny how there attitude changes. When he first called it was," hello sir and how are you today" (no better for you ringing me you useless piece of [***]) but when I challenged him it was no longer "how are you sir" but telling me I was an idiot and dropping the phone on me - bit rude By the way have traced the call to the little island of St Helena, a small island in the South Atlantic, just off Africa and not far from Nigeria (say no more)
