Communication is a wonderful thing ut why is there no control on it. The TPL is not effective outside the UK...come to think of it it is not effective within the uk. The UK system is the responsability of BT...Come on BT Pull you finger out and get smething sorted!!

00211108620406 called me and I want to know why they are calling me in new zealand. How did they get my mobile number?

OK, this is what I understand about this from the research I have done.  The 00211 calling code is from South Sudan.  Others on here have confirmed this.  I have received a couple of calls from this number over the last few days on my cell phone.  The first I didn't answer in time, while the second rung off the moment I answered.  My understanding is that what happens is they call your number and then ring off as soon as it appears you answer.  This is supposed to get you to call back on a missed call.  When you do this, it goes direct to a the equivalent of what I know as a "900" number, ie, you are now paying like $5 or $10 or more per minute.  It is set up as a scam to get you to call their pay number.

They are just cycling through numbers.  Don't take it personally, they havn't got YOUR number per say, yours was just the next numerically in the cycle.  Do NOT call them back it will cost you money.

Tell your father to definitely NOT to call them back it is a scam to get him to call a pay number.  If he calls the number back it will cost him money.  It is a scam.

I received about 7 calls today from 3 different numbers all starting with 00211. No one talks when I do pick up. 00211333883068
