Unwanted call (I was out), but no desire to be called out of the blue from abroad. Think the country code is St Helena?

Don't know who or why I received this call. The actual number shown was -00290075032. Got some automated message that was un-inteligable then nothing.

I've answered at least one call from this number, and all I could hear was echo/feedback from my own voice, and then they ended the call. It's really annoying as we're ex directry, and have TPS! I just know that it'll wake my toddler one of these evenings! Grr!

THEY'VE JUST PHONED AGAIN!!!
I managed to speak to someone this time, (it sounded like an "overseas" call centre).
Not sure who they asked for, but when I (rather crossly) pointed out that we have TPS, and a sleeping toddler upstairs, and if it's them who've been phoning repeatedly they should really stop!
She apologised, and said she'd remove our number from the database.

I have received about ten calls from this number I answered it and spoke to a foreign woman and advised I was not interested in taking part in a survey and not to ring again but I have still had numerous missed calls from them.

The St Helena telephone numbers range from +290 1xxx to +290 9xxx.
Unless they have changed recently this number does not fit the assigned format.
I receive calls from 0000290075032 which may be callers using VoIP such as Skype or Vonage.

This is driving me CRAZY......interrupted two evenings in a row and twice today.  I answer hello and the phone is slammed down.  I shall not be answering any more calls starting with 0000.  This really is tiresome as I, like many others, registered with TPS - what a waste of time.

17/07/09 I said Hello twice then the phone was put down the other end. This is the second time I have had this number call me, and I have no idea who they are.

I have had loads of the same number calling me, but becarefull if you call them back they probably charge you a fortune, my Mum had that once she rung the number back and was charge £6.50 a minute.

This number contacted my father in law asking for me by my full name.....Father in law advised that I had not lived at that address for years and they hung up

call received but no-one spoke I said "if you don't want to speak don't call us" they hung up.

Caller uncertain over who she actually needed to be speaking to. Unable to pronounce the first name.
Not with the TSB for close on ten years. When bank details were asked for, I hung up.

This number has been calling for over a week upto four times a day everytime the phone is answered they just hang up. It is rather irritating!!! I am ex-directory and have TPS but we are still getting the call.

2 calls from 000 029 0075032. Phone cut off immediately. 1471 gave the number but were unable to trace it when I dialled. What country would have this dialling code?  I would like someone to cut them off at source!

Received call 8.30 this evening. My wife picked up the phone and nobody talked and after that it sounded like YOU were calling them?! After that my wife hung up..

caller left ' hello, hello, hello' message on answer phone.Where is this call coming from.

I had the same experience today they are calling from different no. and making crazy with small miss calls.
