- DozeyDoe| 1 replyHad a phone call from a number that came up as 00325, went to answer but phone stopped ringing. Does anyone know what this weird number is or where it's from? I wondered if it might be like a line test!
- StepanderHe called me too in my home phone, and I'm from southern Switzerland... very awkward! I haven't answered because I thought it was a kind of "virus call", something that takes me all the money. Please contact me if you have any other pieces of information about the mysterious 00325

==> a call allegedly from the Microsoft Windows support to "repair" your computer.
A scam we've been warned about by the cybercrime police, it is just about to get a malware on your computer.
Microsoft also says that they never call customers....
If you get such a call, send them TO HELL wiithout restraining your language !!!
- Martin HowardI've had this number call (3 or 4 times in the last day or so) but because I don't like the look of it I don't answer. I then get the phone telling me there is a message which there isn't. Another one of those spam calls, I guess
- Keke| 1 replyI live in in the french-speaking part of Switzerland, and these fools are doing more harm then good, they stopped harrassing me when i said that my brother was an IT specialist and there was no way that a windows computer somebody buys is synced with theit home number, i really hope old people won't get decieved by those [***].

- Wombat69This is a SCAM call, claims to be from Microsoft but in reality is from a sweat-shop-call-center in India (or Pakistan). The trick is to gain access to your computer so they can steal your ID and everything else from it! The insistent Indian (or Pakistani) man kept calling me by the name of the previous occupant of this address (long deceased) but called on MY phone number, not the previous occupant's number! Very odd. But the joke was on him, he told me he was calling to repair the virus damage on my PC, the funny thing is I don't have a PC, I have an Apple MacBook-Pro! So I led him on and pretended to work through the steps he asked me to take on my PC anyway. (I am completely PC literate so faking it was no problem.) I asked him to repeat each step several times and then double checked it with him again and again (just to make sure I am doing it right, you see). After about 20 mins of time-wasting, he became suspicious and asked me to do something I had never heard of, so I challenged his competence at which he flew into a rage and said "Don't you try to fool me, we know all about you Mr (long deceased)". I started laughing and asked him if he also knew my profession. He admitted he didn't so I told him I am the Head of IT at Microsoft in Ireland and I am just here visiting relatives. At this he became abusive and called me a liar (the only thing he got right the whole time) repeating "we know all about you Mr (long deceased) and we have the IP address of your PC so we can block you from using all Microsoft products!". I started laughing and he started cursing so I hung up in his ear! About 5 mins later the phone rang again so I answered it in German using a totally different voice. He was very confused and kept insisting he wanted to speak to Mr ( long deceased), I stuttered in English using my best German accent, that he had the wrong number, nobody here by that name. So he put his supervisor on; an irritated Indian (or Pakistani) woman who kept calling me Mr (long deceased). After wasting another 10 mins of their time she hung up and hasn't called back! I wonder why?!? LOL
