Came home a minute ago and the above number had rang. Weird thing is it says they rang at 10.15 but I was in then and they definitely didn't ring when I was in.  No message left.

if you know it's happening why don't you stop it???

I think this number is the Amazon office in the Irish Republic.   I received a call, at my request, from Amazon which used this number.

Just had a call from this and it was a recorded Amazon message, asking me to press 1 if I was calling about an order... I wasn't calling, they were!
I wonder if someone asked for a callback and put in my number by mistake?

Amazon. Clicked on "callback" button on website and returned call in 20 sec! Spoke to Asian lady - very helpful. When I asked her she said she was in the Philippines!! Great service.

got a call from these yesterday, saying i needed to reorder the item i had ordered the day previously because they had sent my order to the incorrect address. They said they would reimburse me the initial charge if i reordered the item and use the next day delivery service to ensure the item was delivered to me in time. I rejected there proposal saying it was there own fault and they should send the item to me again at their own expense, she promptly hung up on me. Rang the number back today to be told that there was no notes on my account about any phone call or incorrectly delivered goods. So i believe it was a scam to get me to reorder the goods with next day delivery to incur more costs to myself. I feel this is a scam that Amazon have not either got on to that its happening or just turn a blind eye to its going ons

I was called from this number - I could not make sense of what was said and the caller did not say the word Amazon - which I understand now is probably the source of this call.

The caller spoke with a non English accent and I think we both struggled to understand the other - however retrospectively I am almost certain it was Amazon - reading the abiove comments - because I did have a conversation with Amazon yesterday - the business was not finalised although the caller yesterday did ther best - Sadly we have so many scam calls here I Do not give any personal details when I answer until I know who is calling.

Claimed to be from Amazon Prime.  This is a scam call from Southern Ireland saying that they are about to take £39.11 from your account as payment for Amazon Prime.  They will direct you to a web page saying you have to complete the cancellation form but this is a false page they have set up.  Lots of logos and Amazon Prime words.  They will then direct you to a page that gives them control over your computer.  What happens next I don't know as I did not want to go there.  Lots of background noise suggesting this is an organised crime ring operation from a room dedicated to the scam.
You WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY if you follow what is initially an automated call saying press 1 to cancel the Amazon Prime payment and speak to a person.
