Habe diese Nummer öfters auf meiner Anrufliste, (Lebe in Zürich) nehme aber den Anruf nie entgegen, wenn ich eine Marketing-Firma vermute (Wichtige Anrufer mit mir unbekannter Nummer können schliesslich eine Combox-Nachricht hinterlassen). Heute Samstag 10.30 kam wieder ein Anruf mit dieser Nummer, und ich habe auf gut Glück mal in Google geschaut. Bin überrascht und finde es toll,dass es hier so eine Seite gibt und dass ich hier sehe, um wen es sich bei diesem Anrufer handelt! Am besten ist es wirklich, gar nicht zu reagieren, irgendwann geben solche Anrufer vielleicht von selbst auf, und man verliert keine Zeit mit unnötigen Diskussionen.

Meldete sich als Fa. San Lorenzo, wollte ein Kennenlernpaket von ital. Feinkost verkaufen, als ich ihn darauf hinwies, dass Telefonwerbung in Deutschland verboten sei, sagte er etwas sehr unhöfliches und legete auf.

That's incorrect. As many other things in Italy are different as in other countries.
In Italy you MUST ALWAYS dial the 0 before the area code - from outside and from inside the country! Otherwise you will never get a correct connection.
From outside the country for ex. 0039 055 for Florence, 0039 02 for Milan or 0039 06 for Rome

The caller says he is from San Remo Italy, I said no interest, thx have a good time in Italy. This number is now locked in my phone system to avoid other calls. Seams to be a caller sequence number with different numbers but the same company behind it.

I got this call today. and I'm living in the netherlands...can someone explain who this is?? 0039 is the country number from Italy I believe...

Living in Germany. 00390104211500 called in our absence today but hung up before our answering machine would pick up. Seen this in the call logs of our phones. Found entries on this marvellous site  - thanks to all contributors!!! - and added this number to my  "FRITZ!Box-trick". This is a message-only answering machine with a very unfriendly salutation message announcing to the callers that their number is being logged and will be forwarded to legal prosecution if they would be calling again. For any SPAM caller number I add an immediate redirection to this answering machine to my  FRITZ!Box configuration - got  29 such redirections so far ...

BTW, we never participate at lotteries and never reply to snail mail commercials, not even if the senders would be known business contacts of ours ... and we even receive such calls on a secret phone number which is not listed in whatsoever "white pages" ...

Ich wohne bei Basel in der Schweiz und wurde heute um 09.25 von dieser Nummer (während meiner Abwesenheit) angerufen. Finde es toll dass man diese aufdringlichen Firmen/Leute mit "WhoCallsMe" identifizieren kann.

I live in England and I had a call from this number today.  Woman with an Indian (I think) accent.  I quitely laid the phone down, and let her babble on until she went away!
