Silent call and apparantly no one at the other end for a good 5 seconds before hanging up.

foreign lady italian possible indian went on about foods and family producers it would have enbded with wanting details to pay for goods real or scam i dont know. i said i dont want to buy foods to end it she knew my name and phone no.

Received 2 calls. Didn't pick up because I didn't know the number and don't know anyone in "Alba, Piedmont, Italy".

called me today some aisan man claiming to be in Lugano switzerland wanting to talk skin care, i explained this is cold calling and that tps subscribers should not be called. I thought that would put him off and i said i do not want anything to answer anything or give them any financial info. he was not impolite but i wished him goodbye and put down my receiver.

Called just before 9am lady said she was calling from Italy - I said I was not intereste & put the phone down

Silent call

A man with a slight foreign accent calling from Italy asked if I liked Italian food. The conversation was leading to pasta and olive oil and products that I guessed he would wish to tempt me to buy over the phone. I suspected that he probably wanted credit cards details and told him I was not interested. I hung up. He mentioned that he worked for an Italian company which had been trading for 30 years in bio products but I did not pick up the name.

They called me too,today,to promote skin lotions...it Was a woman,talking in romanian...But i stopped The conversation

Got this call as well.
She/He hung up after I said hello.
Maybe she’d prefer to speak to women only ...?

Rang out of the blue on our new line which we never answer and only got because the ISP needs it.

They must have a very old cold-calling list - asked after a Mr Roberts. A woman with that surname moved out of this house in 2006. Caller hung up straight after.

Told to go breed and number blocked. Stupid scam.

Female called asking for me by name.   Could hardly understand what she said so told her I was not interested in her lies and hung up

003901731920032 called me on my landline @ 10:41am today (25/2/19). Round 2 of Popmaster was starting so there's no way I was going to answer but the ringing was getting on my nerves so I picked up but I didn't say anything.

Then I dialled 1471 and got the number which to me has too many digits even for an overseas number. Probably a faked Caller ID.

I look forward to them calling again. I'll probably take the phone off the hook before tomorrow's Popmaster, in case they phone at the same time.

Looking at some of the other comments; this call seems to originate in Italy. I remember that I had a call from a similar number a while ago so I searched my name on here and found my report about a call I received on 14/6/18 @ 17:31  from 00390372428860 (one digit shorter than today's calling number) the caller was an Italian sounding man who was telling me about the wonderful food he had for sale and had just started a business - maybe it's the same people on a different faked number?

Clearly I'm on some database somewhere and that's why I'm getting these dodgy calls.

They are still active in 2019. No need to answer.

Called today from Switzerland to ask for the lady of the house to talk about skincare products..said I was busy and hung up..
