Same here as for the comments above.  Have recived 2 calls today from this number.  First time I did not pick up and the second time it only rang 2 times and then the person hung up.  Very irritating!!!   But can see that this is just a bogus caller since so many are wondering the same.....

You receive a call from a foreign number you do not know, there is good reason to be careful. More Danes have unfortunately already experienced to pay dearly for that call back.

How do the fraudsters
Fraudsters are calling from different numbers, eg. 00393193269052 . When you take the phone, they hang up. Calling back the number, you will be connected to an answering machine in another country where you will pay overtax per minute for the call. The same applies if you simply see that they have called and calling back to check who it is.

unfortunately not able to block the number so that we will strongly encourage you to be aware of the number and not call back

got a call at 7 in the morning. Ring one time and i didnt pick it up. Does anybody know what kind of fraud this is??

My phone was off until 08:30 AM today, but as soon as I switched my phone on I recieved a SMS about the calls.
On 06:49 this number has called me. I googled it and found out about this site.
I was planning to call back but I won't...

This number is rather suspicious. I was dozing on Sunday afternoon, and my mobile ringigng woke me up. I answered the phone in a half dream but the caller hang up. Unfortunately I called it back, but nobody answered. I looked it up in google and saw comments. I could not identify the caller, but 39 refers to Vatican. There's only one solution I can imagine, it was his excellence, the Pope.

Got the same call a few minutes ago but hung up the second I picked up the phone.  I suppose it is a scam when you end up not with having a chat with the Pope but paying a huge amount of money to a scam artist...

Who Are You?

I have received a call from this number and it is not the first time.. I never answer... but I'm picking up a pattern here and want to make sure... to whoever else is receiving calls from this dodgy number: have you planned a trip to Italy around the date you recieved the call and have you used a particular site for the booking that you gave away your details? what site was this?
