Im on the 28th call from these muppets. Ive been so rude yet they keep calling. At first they claimed they were Orange...hmmmm i doubt this.

its Orange in Prague apparently, offered me a cheap landline, told them to go bollox

00420239011111 called today. The only other unknown people, who called today on my mobile, was the NHS appointments service. Any links for others here? Same thing for me too. 5 rings etc.

Had loads of these calls over the last few weeks - 2 or 3 a day typically.  But my phone is set to silent at work so I've never answered it.  I did answer today, just to tell them to foxtrot oscar, and the guy who spoke claimed to be from Orange (it was a call to my Orange mobile).  I seriously doubt it was from Orange - felt far too flaky.
I'm going to report to Orange - either it is them and they'll take notice of the fact that they are coming across as dodgy or it's not Orange (more likely) and they might be able to do something to stop this company misrepresenting who they are.

Ive got 3 missed calls from this number but they ring off after 3 or 4 rings, havent answered it thank goodness!

keeps ringing every day at about 15.00 for last 4 days, also at other times

This number is calling me at least 2 times a day.
I tried calling back and it was constantly engaged.
I have no idea why this number should be calling me.

Yep very annoying, I keep getting calls from this number about 3 x a day and then cuts off. I answered it once as I do have relatives in Prague, foreign chap who answered did not sound Czech and knew my name, then the call cut off. I ignore it now, it's very annoying.

This number phoned me the other wek and I didnt pick up.  It called again today and I answered it as my parents are abroad.

The caller knew who they were talking to and said they were calling on behalf of my provider, Orange.  I lost the cal due to bad signal and it has been calling again.  I have noe added it to my reject list.  Where do they get your number from as I always say no to sharing my data.

i have been havin calls from this number for the last month now ,2 .3 and even five times a day, reject the call if i can get to it on time, it dosent ring that long. todays 2nd call was different it went onto answerphone when i listened it just clicked off, reading through all these posts on here i see im not alone ,phoned my phone supplier orange and cant block it with my phone type, not had my number that long and like you all wondering where """they""" who ever they are got it from!!!!!!!!, getting really hacked off with it

Have now had over 25 aclls from these muppets in the last 2 weeks. I ahve them in my phone book now as "Spam reject call" so I dont pick it up, and am about to give them their own silent ringtone so I dont even bother looking at the phone!! Rang orange who tell me it is against the Telecom Regulatory act for them to block someone from calling me!!! Irony???? If I find out it is Orange I will be cancelling my contract and not paying any outstanding amount, I am so fed up with this!

Update: I emailed Orange Orange.MCB@everythingeverywhere.com after my ridiculous phone call (count currently at 32 in just over 2 weeks).
I got the following reply having told them the forums were saying it was Orange & that I wanted to cancel if that was the case!!:"This number has been reported by other people as making nuisance calls. We are not aware that this is anything to do with Orange but have requested a full investigation to confirm this is definitely not Orange.  
In relation to the advice regarding mobile operators having the capability to block calls from specific numbers, I regret  that you have been misinformed.  The configuration of a mobile network differs greatly from a fixed network and therefore mobile operators cannot offer a blocking facility in the way a fixed line provider might be able to."
I then got a follow up email yesterday saying
"We can confirm that the offending number that has been calling you is definitely not Orange calling.
However we have identified the operator  that is sending  these calls; we have taken this up with them in order to have the nuisance calls stop although we have no power to force this to happen and have no way of blocking calls from Czech republic calling Orange UK customers."
Very pleasantly I've had no spam calls since yesterday, this in itself is a small miracle. Fongers crossed!!

I've had several calls from this number, goggled it and realised it was dodgy - but for some reason answered today - the guy answering claimed to be from Orange and when I said he wasn't he told me my date of birth and other details about my account (which I didn't confirm)- at which I point I put the phone down - I've reported this to Orange - who have made a record of it and suggested I report it to the police - which I have done - and they have also suggested I report it to action fraud (www.actionfraud.org.uk) which I'm also going to do. It sounds like someone has account details for Orange's customers - who knows what purposes these are going to be used for!

I have had about six calls from this number, all of which I have missed and I haven't called back. I am an Orange customer too.

ex-directory doesnt mean people cant call you, they probably randomly generate numbers the last 4 digits of your phone number. You can get call screening services if you are really paranoid about that stuff.

And I as also stated above have only given my number out recently to the nhs reminder service?!
I am also on orange and would love for someone to get to the bottom of it!

can we stop them calling? its annoying (especially when you battery is about to go)!!
