I got a call from the same number to my mobile number and home in Slovenia.

I keep receiving messages on my mobile from 4420306011679.  I don't know who this is and do not want to know.  How can I stop these calls

Got a call from 00442034760808.The female claimed to be speaking on behalf of the NSPCC. Didn't sound genuine.  I have had calls from NSPCC and other charities asking for a monthly donation and this sales pitch sounded false. She then asked for a monthly donation of £12.  She would then have been asking for my credit card details.  I told her that £12 per month was far too much and on this occasion I was unable to help.  Normally charities ask for £2 per month.  If I'm wrong I'm sorry but I don't think I am.  I feel this was a scam.

For the past fornight I have recieved phone-calls to my home landline, from someone 'claiming' to be from the NSPCC. Each time I have answered the calls, it has being either the same man or same woman. This set my alarm bells off, as I thought how rare this is, as I have never spoken to the same person twice from NSPCC or other charities.

Whereas, I know that the REAL NSPCC numbers are a London codes, 020.

I have NOT given any personal information to them, as my alarm bells went off when they said who they were. This is due to the REAL NSPCC knowing that I am NOT in a financial situation were I can donate anything at the moment. Therefore my account with them is in-active, until I can afford to give to them again. Also the REAL NSPCC have left it for me "to contact them" when I am able to give financial support & they only send my information about their continuing work through the post.

I have reported it to the REAL NSPCC in an email, but I don't know what to say to these 'false nspcc' when they ring again, I am running out of reasons why I can't talk. I want the geninue NSPCC to be able to track them down so, I'm worried if I lose my cool with them on phone, they will change tactic's and go un-caught.

How dare someone use the name of a geninue campaign, that works to help vulnerable children, to financially better themselves and take from a deserving child???? It makes me so angry.

I have had the same calls as you, for the past fornight, someone 'claiming' to be the NSPCC.

I am glad I'm not the only who does NOT believe them to be genuine.

I have emailed the REAL NSPCC so hopefully something will get sorted.
My concern is, if they have accessed my Ex-Directory home number and my name, what else??
(My name isn't the same as my family name, so it would be harder for someone to 'gues' or 'search' for).

APaolo I had the same number today, in Portugal... No one spoke and I thought it was a wrong number, but when I look at the number I thought that was very strange to be 203... When I "google it" I found this forum.
