very strange call from this, number as heard nothing and after few second only said Good bye!! automated service not human at all

Had a call from the same number x2 days on a row. The caller claimed that he was from the company called 'Global Tech'  and is from the windows error message response service. He has been receiving error message from my computer in last x2 week and there is something needs to be fixed... When I said that I don't use Windows and more than 1 computer uses the IP address, he wanted to transfer me to 'the Apple team' then I hung up.
Terrible scam plot !

Missed call today from 0052721812 obviously a scam, but now no phone line!

I just had the call 2 minutes ago and pretended I was on the computer even though I was nowhere near it. She asked me to push the windows button and r and ask me if a box came up and I was like no I don't see a box. She then told me I was a very foolish people (yes she said people what and idiot) so I laughed and she make a fake giggle back and hung up. What morons

I had a call from 0052721812. I picked it up and nobody said they just put the phone down.

Got called by this number today - waited to see who was calling - no message left on answermachine except for 'goodbye'. Oviously a scam from what others on here have experienced. Have now blocked this number with my BT handset. Pity you can't block more than 10 numbers though. Still it's been pretty quiet for the last few months - until today. Maybe they are trying to get as many phishing/scam calls in before the rules change about reporting such nuisance calls.

I got the very same just now - I have since blocked the number. Such pests!

Didn't get to the phone before the answer phone kicked in. This number now blocked.
