What can we doabout these scammers??? Seems ridiculous people are allowed to call us and try to scam us. Why cant their number be disconnected?

At the moment calling once per month and is getting the answering machine. They don't leave a message!

This twerp called today, said he was called Peter (fist lie) and that there was a fault on my computer. I told him he was a lying B and hung up. He then called a further 4 or 5 times, which I didn't answer, but on the 6th, I did answer, and he said 'Why did you hang up on me you mother f******r.' I said because you are liar, I have looked you up on the internet.
What a creep.

Usual scam, dont talk, that just means they pass on a live number to other reptiles.

8.30 this morning (Saturday) don't usually pick up from this number but caught me half asleep but when I realised what it was, rubbish about computer virus, put phone down.

scamming criminal scum trying to con people out of money to fix non existent computer problems

I no longer answer the phone when I receive a call from an unknown number, number with held, international or out of area. If it is important a message will be left for me to answer.
Unfortunately my space for blocked numbers is now full

Nervious caller today said that my PC could be infected in some way. I said pull the other one!!. He cut me off
The caller may be ring from Mexico judging by the number

Every hour this person calls then hangs up

I had a message over my Outlook e mail to say that my e mail was closed.  Thought this was a bit strange as I had not requested closure, so went to the help desk who said it was a technical problem there end and it was being fixed.  The next day received a call from a Michael Wright from "on line support" he claimed that i had many viruses on my computer which is why I could not access the internet (that hadn't been the issue) but he said he could help me fix it and he requested on line access, not being computer savy I gave him access when he promptly showed me lists of error and a variety of other information.  I started to get suspicious because of the way in which he communicated, and the information he was showing me was designed to ramp up my anxiety, he claimed that I would need to pay £169.00 for 4 years on line support or £312 for a life time.  i told him I wasn't interested and he started to get bullying and sarcastic, threatening to shut down my computer and block access to the internet and my e mail.  I turned off my computer in the midddle of this and he clearly was angry.  I believe I was being scammed I later got an expert to look over my computer he believes I was being scammed as well   He used the phone number +52744840 and claimed he worked for Microsoft Windows 10.

Ok same thing but haven't pick up phone but seems to be at the same time where do they get my number from .   how do i block this ?

Called by an Indian sounding woman asking me about my vindows computer. I told her where to shove her phone. I had a whistle by the phone to blow in the ears of scammers but removed it recently as I haven't had a scam call for ages, then today....... no whistle.

Oh and she also knew my name but not how to pronounce it. Where did she get it from?

Female with Indian Sub-continental accent asked if I'd been on my computer at 10.00 pm last night. I said I wasn't (true) but she continued that Peter Jones and George Thompson had been trying to send a fax to my computer and my computer was showing a problem.  I asked what the IP address of my computer was.  She gave a number.  It wasn't mine.  Told her it was a scam and put the phone down.  They're obviously trying to get a bit more sophisticated.  Know your IP address.  Ask caller to tell you the IP address of the problem computer.  If it's not right, you know it's a scam.  If it is right, thank them for their alert, say goodbye, and make your own investigations.

How many of us have computers capable of receiving Faxes?

Calling to tell me there is a problem with my Windows computer and they will talk me through fixing it.,
I told him I knew he was out to scam me and that he'd log into my computer and take my money.  He said he wasn't after my money, he just wanted to help me fix my Windows computer.
I then said I knew it was a scam because I didn't even have a Windows computer and he hung up on me.

Had a call from 0052 744840 - I understand this is a company called techline who say that your computer is sending out errors.  No such thing computer fine.  When I answered this time the line went dead.

it is a scam thay say computer got problem windows never ring but they persuade quite few  let that access computer then jam it up demand money total scam  and it should be stoped nasty ingnorant scaming pigs scum bags
