Got a call this morning from 0061393385368 - no-one there so I guess it was computer-generated and it rang off not long after I answered.  Nuisance calls like this should be banned.

Apparently this type of calls (computer-generated?) still active. I was called by 0061 322 24 72

My mum received an aggressive call about being prosecuted. She is now very scared.

I had a call from 0061387284982 telling me it was the HMRC and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest and to press 1 to speak to the arresting officer. It was a recorded message but could be very scary for elderly or vulnerable Surely BT can stop these calls, wish I could face them ! Weird scamming freaks !!!

I fully understand how your mum feels we had the same call wish there was someone you could report to !! Hope your Mum is ok now and I just thought it may help if she knew she is not alone !

I also just received very similar automated call from 0061328455390 pupporting to be from HMRC following issue of an arrest warrant for fraud and to press 1 to speak to my case officer.   I just waited and the call eventually hung up.
Presumably it is a ploy to identify lines that get answered by a real person, if you press 1 it will connect you to the scammer after scaring you.

this call is from your internet provider  we are ringing to advise that your internet service has been compromised in many places and will be disconnected within 24 hours press 1 bah hang up!!!

Has about 10 calls but I never answer. Now blocked the number, from Puerto Rico

Another one to add to this list. I never answer the landline i wait to see if they leave a message.

Lots and lots of really stupid people here that think that their numbers which have 13 digits are the same as the number at the top of the thread which only has 5 digits. Wish they taught math in school again so that people would learn to count and would be able to recognize the the numbers are different.

Called today - 0061349682048. Left a message -my bank has sent 600 pounds to a foreign country and so on.

late night calls hanging up before you answer wouldnt have answered anyway after I checked the number thank god for caller display

I was called on my landline and the caller said they were from Sky our broadband provider informing me that there was fraudulent activity on our computer
