    Claimed to be from British Telecom, interesting, BT have not called themselves that for many years, they became BT in 1991 and refer to themselves as that.  It was a crackly line, overseas, perhaps sub-continent.  Clearly scammers, rang off when I questioned if they were from British Telecom.
