This number keeps calling me.

who is caller

I have been getting calls from this numberand it seems every call has a different last 4 digits. Just flash and hangs up before you can pick the phone.You cant call back because it doesnt go through.Any one know who the caller is?

I keep getting a call from this number and with the last few digits swapped like KK had. They call day and night and during the day at work when I can't pick up. First thing Saturday and Sunday mornings and late at night. What's going on?

Same thing. Keep getting these calls. So, will someone answer who it is and why? I refuse to call back...I'll bet there is a charge for returning the call.

They called and asked for me by name and said they were from HSBC Bank and asked for date of birth and postcode.  They said they were querying a letter we had sent about a 5.00 charge (we had sent no letter).  We got the number from a 1471 but thank goodness did not attempt to call back.

Just missed a call from this number - it rang for several seconds - now i'm intrigued.

Same number just called me - again claiming to be HSBC - they had my full name i asked for a number to callback on and was given 08456 077 0888 which by my reckoning has too many digits.  Telephoned HSBC direct to ask them about it and they had no idea what was going on - but said they would investigate that number and the oo8oo7 number.

Same here, I got a call saying they were from HSBC; they left a message but when I called the HSBC on the number I had for them they said they knew nothing about it.

It's deffo HSBC, I have spoken to them and sorted things out on this number with them .. its deffo them

Yeah it's definitely them. I had received a quote in the bank and the guy said he would phone me the next day. The call was from this number.
