I've had this number phone me too! I had some foreign bloke say 'hello who is this?' and then when I said it went silent so haven't answered it since. I've also been recieving calls from other numbers with no answer... very confusing and annoying! What should we be doing about it?

I have had numerous calls from this number, which I have ignored.  Initially they would let it ring twice and hang up, I am assuming they were hoping I would call them back.  Of course I didn't and now they just let it ring but never leave a message.

I have added this number to my 'reject call' list but it still seems to get through

I am on Orange and am only 16 years old but this number has phoned me 3x on 26/06 and 5x on 29/06 (today)  and i have no idea who they are. I haven't answered them because I told my mom about them and she told me not to.  However today (29/06) I notice they have left a voicemail on my phone. I am going to wait to find out what the message says and will probably post it up on here for everyone on here to find , purely because i am fed up of my phone being called constantly and I'm sure many of you are too.

A few months ago I had this number calling me a few times a day, same with the 0207 number, but they stopped. I've JUST had a call from them now. I've never answered the call, as I tend not to pick up if it's a number I don't recognise. Who are these idiots who seem to pester EVERYONE? Grrrr!!!

Keep getting calls from this number either rings off befor I can answer or no-one there, really annoying.

I had a missed call from this number today. I called the number back and the message

"welcome to Three, please wait while we transfer your call"

I was then passed over to a woman who said "welcome to Three, how can I help you?"

I replied "I don't know? how can you help ME?"

Three "Sir, if you don't know the reason for your call I can't help you!"

Me "I am simply returning your call, what is it that you want?"

Three "Sir, I can assure you I have not called you today"

Me "OK, I bid you good day maddam"

Seems this number is spreading, called @ 20:08,today with no answer from other end, just murmuring background voices. Sounded like a call centre to me,but can't prove it, yet.

i had this number phone me today i was upstairs so i didnt here the phone ring but as i came downstairs the answering machine had got it when i replayed it there is silence but you can hear people talking in the background, how do they get numbers as mine is ex directory!!

this number called me and hung up,i called back its 3 network,i think they will try and offer phone deals!!! best to just ignore and reject the calls!!!

this number keeps ringing me while im in work and ive just had a call off them now at 8.15pm which is too late, after a long day at work the last thing i need is some [***] ringing me and then not having the decency to talk, just silence then they hang up. Get a life scum!

Agree with the post above - really wish these people didn't bother...
please stop calling me 008009886002. If anyone has time spare please phone and annoy them instead...Annoyed.

this number has rung me 5 times since 10am today. havent answered as dont answer numbers unknown to me and no message left

I have had this number call for the last 2 weeks and I have ignored until just. I answered and they said "we are phoning you about the iPad competition you entered online". When I said "which competition?" they hung up!
