009

Been getting regular calls on my mobile - 3 or 4 a day - as I've just been in Turkey for 2 weeks (hence outside the EuroTraveller zone) I have not answered any so don't know what happens.

The number is always different - including different dialling codes - except the last 3 digits are always 009.

Anybody know anything about the caller, and is this a new trick to make you answer a phone because you think it is a different number?

This "number" shows up as 009. I answered, they asked for some random person. Told them wrong number. They said "oh really then I'm going to shut off your computer then" and they hung up on me before being able to hear me laugh. Sad panda. Just a BS call using a spoof phone number. And they are obviously from India.

I received a call from an 009 number (cant remember the rest) telling me that my bt internet was running slow. Guessed it was a scam ; said I would get my computer man to investigate and hung up.

This is so annoying the amounts of cold callers we have to deal with. 99 of 100 times its sales and/or a scam. Wish those numbers could be blocked.

Call from 00923377232141 to my landline. Background call centre noises so I just put the phone down.

had several calls frm 009 and to specify its just 009 nothing ells? i thought more digits would be needed? strange to get calls from a 3 digit number.. baffled , im pay as i go so if it calls back il answer as i cant b reverse charged on me plan il post any curious discovery's if any, im in ielrand just sayin, X

call from  009 3248  - woman with heavy East Asian accent background office noise - Your internet connection will close down - Asked her what the weather was like in Bombay and hung-up.  I get one of these a day.

0091 calls daily from India at 8 am, last 3 digits of number change. feel harrassed as people here who need to sleep are woken up

I’ve had two calls from an 009165…… number, both at 8am and both on my landline.  I can hear that someone is there but no one speaks.  Very annoying, but obviously a scam.

Called at 10.33 today (08/06/2023), automated caller said my bank account had an unauthorised request for payment of £1000 from a betting site and a request for a payment to Amazon.
