Who are these people, I am being plagued by them.

Just want to know who 01112 is

i get this number calling me but i have never picked it up.  a similar number 01117 also calls.  who are they?

these people from 01112 called me and had all my bank details.they told me i had spent a holiday in one of there hotels this year,they could not tell me what hotel it was,or where i went to,they even knew how much the holiday cost me'

Today I got a call from this number,the line was not clear and couldn't hear them.It's looked like a international number,So I searched using Google and surprisingly this forum was the first result. I too want to know who are they.

I have just had a call from 01112.  They say they are 'Energy Helpline', accredited etc. and carrying out a survey. I have had several calls from this number - can anyone suggest a way to stop them?
We are registed on TPS, but I understand that 'surveys' are not covered. Any help with this would be much appreciated!!!

I have had a call from 01112 as well, I assume they are a market research company but they dont say who they are which is breaking the rules - see the market research society code of conduct; http://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/codeconduct.htm

Telling them to P*** off seems to work quite well though

I too am being plague by these annoying people who insist on phoning at the most inopportune timings, ie : 9pm, I work shift work and so does my wife and we also have a very young son who they consistantly wake up,  numbers we have been called by so far 01112, 01118, 01110. All of these have been claiming to be from the energy conservation or whatever, if anyone knows how to get rid of these annoying W*****s please let me know !!!!

Just had a call off them, said they were from British Consumers and weren't trying to sell me anything. Put the phone down after he said 'pardon' twice to questions I asked him.
