can any one reconise these numbers 01124/01120 sounds a bit fishy, i thout telphone numbers have more numbers than that

Had the second 5 digit cold call within a week with no one at the other end  - this time 01124

Receiving calls from 01124,01115, 01116 and 01117.
Never anyone there and after talking with many friends I am not the only one.
Can anyone help us to stop these worrying and frightening phone calls?

Keep getting calls from this number but they never answer.

The caller was from an Energy Company - I declined it - but because of its length I cannot bar it.

I just had one.
Given the Energy hint above .. suspect it is an auto-dialler .. and EdF have been hassling us lately.

Basically a computer has a huge list of phone numbers .. and a team of cold-call agents ..  to ensure the agents do not waste a minute - the computer auto-dialer tries to find 'answered phones and switch it to an agent within a few seconds of you answering ...

think its mallicious 01124 i guess is a internet rooted  call (but don't quote me on that) mine was 'microsoft' just hang up or abuse the hell out of them probably best to just hang up tho

what the hell it is? I rcd call from the same no. starts with 01124 and disturbing a lot.

I received a call from this number.but when i answered they hung up

I received a call just today from this no.   0112,   I as what the nature of his call was, he said, it is to do with my computer.    And I do think this no. is from abroad somewhere, as it  had an echo.  
I suspect it is one of those fruad computer tech people that phone and say that their is somthing wrong with your computer, and they want to fix it.   I told him not to ring this number  and to get a life!

TOTAL FRAUDSTERS!!  

Do they think  we have just landed down from Mars or something!

I do wonder if reporting these calls on this site actually does anything to stop them or help discover  who these idiotic  parasites are.

It's a scam,they say there is something wrong with computers in your area and want to fix it for you----and charge you too!!!!! I know for a fact cos I let them onto mine as it was playing up at the time and it cost me a lot of money to get stuff off it which they put on. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be conned like I was.

just had a call from these muppets. On asking who they were, this cha[ said, "it's peter from the energy help line. Well at 8.55pm, I haven't asked for any help. Hung up on him, bleeding nuisances.

8:45 pm and they just called.

Received a call at 7.30pm foreign voice asked if I would do a general survey.  Replied I am not interested  in telephone surveys.  He asked "why not" I replied I have other things to do at this time of night and hung up.    A minute later the same person rang back and said " Mr ++ you are a [***] and a [***].  I said where is your supervisor, he said "In Sri Lanka"  I said well you get back there and I then hung up.

I got a phone call from 01123 901109 around an hour ago but missed it because I was asleep. I rang them back just now and a woman answered and asked who I was looking for. I told her that this number had rung me around and hour ago and she said it didn't and then hung up.

This is really odd.

Same experience with me, I asked is this a survey? then an Indian sounding voice started to swear at me "you "f*****g b*****d" three times. I did not reply, just hung up.

01124 just called saying they were my mums boyfriend...she is married!!
