If you have bought something costing more than £35.00 from a trader as a result of a visit to your home or place of work (whether or not the visit was requested by you), you will be protected by the Doorstep selling Regulations – or to give it its proper title: The Cancellation of Contracts made in a Consumer’s Home or Place of Work etc Regulations 2008. These regulations give you a cooling off period of 7 calendar days during which time you have the right to cancel and get a full refund. Just as with the Distance Selling Regulations, you must have been provided with a notice of your cancellation rights, otherwise the agreement may be legally unenforceable

Buying away from the trader’s normal place of business.
You may also invoke your 7 day cancellation rights for items over £35.00 where business is taking place away from the trader’s HQ or shop. This may include any of the following:

    Your place of work
    A trade fair
A one-day fair (such as a wedding fair) or a marketing presentation (such as overseas property)
It is also the case even when contracts are concluded at a later date, back at the trader’s shop or office – the fact that you have made your offer away from here is the important thing. Refunds
The supplier must reimburse you within 30 days of cancellation, without charge, unless you have been informed that you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods. If you have any related credit agreements, these will also be cancelled.

This is a forum for reporting nuisance or scam telephone calls.   No one here is qualified to give legal advice  only general advice.    May I suggest that you urgently contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizens Advice for an answer to your question.    You should have the contract that you signed available as it is likely to be referred to.

Contact the C.A.B or Consumer Direct and ask them what the law says about a "cooling off" period when saigning a contract and paying a deposit in your own home.  Theere are different rules for signing in a shop, signing in your home and agreeing over the phone or on the internet.

''  I fitted for a customer a few months back. I'm an independent self employed kitchen fitter and have fitted all makes of kitchens. ' The fitter commented on THE PICTURES shared  of what they fitted  '' is an 'ok' finish for us but considering what we had to deal with I think it's a triumph.
We had to bin the sink as it was junk.
The cabinets are the worst I've ever put together and had to re-jig them to hide/cut out damage.
The worktops were damaged too. This kitchen took far longer than needed but -I-  had a happy customer at the end''.

May I ask how you know " Kitchens are paying out on CCJs " As my sister has a CCJ against this company and she won hers over a year ago and she has not had a penny back.

They hang onto your cash 'til they're forced to pay up! I'm in Scotland so had to have the decree (CCJ) transferred to English court ! Get these snakes out before them & their fake followers do any more damage! Yes Mandy. & Kelly are miller groupies!

Rosemary I see your still being as vindictive as ever and the amount of venom that pours out of that nasty mouth of yours on this site and your closed groups. I am really shocked you have not choked on it.

Rosie why don't you tell Carol the truth ? The reason it took so long to get your money back was you would not give the kitchen back to the company. You kept telling the court you had it dumped but in fact Rosie you still have the kitchen and your using it. You told folk you got another kitchen from Howdens which in fact is a pack of lies. I find it very strange how you have never ever put photos up of your Howdens kitchen ? You have always been and always will be a very evil nasty woman your only happy when you are causing trouble for folk. It is very plain to see you have a personal vendetta against this Vance Miller and you don't have the guts to go it alone . So you have to get other folks on your side to make this mans like hell always remember this word " KARMA ". You bad mouth other folk on here and I would put money on it that you don't even know these people and I hope they put you in court for slander . And maybe then it will teach you a lesson to keep your mouth shut and keep your nose out of others folks business.

There must be some damage limitation site trawling going on.  Two positive posts trying to demonise a complainant, made a whole month after the original post.  This is the usual way of operating when anyone tells the truth about any of Vance Miller's operations.

You listen to me pal I know Rosie and I know she is a trouble maker and she has no Howdens kitchen in her home. She got her money back so ask yourself why is she still wanting to make trouble for this guy ?
