How many times do you have to tell the same company .NO. Every week I get a call from these dicks. My advice ...If someone were interested in your car they would call you. Anyway, who would pay a company to look online for you when it is so simple yourself. They are wicked leaches praying on the wishes of others. Oh and Motorplace, if you do read this please take my first "no", you won't change my mind by arguing with me. Really, no honestly I really  wont change my mind.

It is a SCAM.

I had a call today from 0116 616710, a guy called Adam said he had buyers wanting to buy my veichle (i recently put an advert on autotrader). I must say i was already really sceptical about this as i've had another random number call me up and offer the same service but for an up front £95 fee!! I asked this Adam if there was a fee for the service and he did say no, asked where he was calling from so i could verify it online and he said Motorplaceuk. I got the number off the website and called their customer service centre 08712300301 who verified he was a legit caller and i asked if there was a fee to pay... £79.95!!! I told the woman 'Adam' told me it was a free service and i wouldn't be interested... I then got another call from Adam saying thanks for calling the callcentre and to clarify there is a fee to pay. After that i checked on here and thank god i did, no way am i parting with my cash, like others have said why couldn't people contact me themselves! Adam even sent me an email with their terms and conditions, and can i say, they are less than a page long!!

there a legitament company, they dont just take peoples deposits and
keep them, and make a bout £3000 a day.

hi... got a cal today from motorplace uk they told me they had up to 30 buyers intrested in my car .. he said they was waiting to come and veiw my car with the cash to buy, he guarunteed my car would sell and that the phone cals would start in half an hour ..he then asked for 49.95 costs wich would be refunded to me when the car sells ,four hours later no phone calls and have tried to email them to cancell and there email address is not known what a surprise,

Yeah, same thing these people are BIG LIARS. I was harrased with phone calls about my car, parted with £49.95 on the the promise that people were waiting to buy my car. Was also given the immpression that I would get calls from customers after 5pm the same day I gave them my dosh. Guess what? nothing ofcourse! Spoke to them again.This time I was assured that I would get interested parties on the weekend - did I hell! Then was told to complain via a letter/email to which I emailed. Reply was just a computer generated letter, after complaining again and this time with a Manager Mr. Miller for a good half an hour whom actually admited that I was lied to from the telesales staff, still told me to write or email again to the refund dept. Next day I spoke to their so called MD Mr. Richard Fox - he was more arrogant and stubborn than Mr. Miller abd again said that he was unable to refund me and that I would have to speak contact the refumd department. After doing so again and receiving another computer generated reply, I have decided to get the Police involved as I was defanetly DECEIVED INTO PARTING WITH MY MONEY FOR A PACK OF LIES. Im sure attaining money by deception is a crime. My no. is 07878389411 please let me know if there is any other way we can get our money back from these scam artists.

Lying, cheating bunch of *!!**!. Received a call the day my bike went in the paper, they had buyers ready to take a loan from them wanting a bike like mine.  It would cost £9.95, refundable when the bike sold to be offered to their buyers. Like an idiot, I agreed. Four working days later, £79.95 was taken from my account.  I phoned, and emailed, have written in conjunction with consumer direct and have heard nothing from them.  They fraudulently took money from my account and don't give a *!*!.  They have no intention of paying it back and I'm wondering whether it's going to be worthwhile going to small claims as they'll only ignore any judgement made. STAY CLEAR OF THESE PARASITES!!!

I paid  £99.95 to motorplace, they said they had a buyer for my caravan to date i have not sold, this was 3months ago, not one call.

Ok dont shout at me but for a VERY brief time i worked for MPuk, by the first month i clocked that they were scam artists and left, in any case im sorry if i have scammed any of you as at the time i was totally unaware.
Firstly the MD's real name (i.e Richard Fox) is Cengiz Kemal and hes a fat turkish %&*£&^(* scuse my french. They're address is or at least was (i wouldnt be able to tell you if they are still there) is 60 Charles Street, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE1 1FB.
When i first started there i found it odd id had about half an hours trainig before i was put on the phone but not only that we were paid more than likely illegally and less than the minimum wage,  CASH IN HAND!! Further to this not long after id started and the complaints were flooding in, we were suddenly told we were being made self employed and that we would have to sort out our own taxes. Hmmm more suspicious.
Not long before i left the big boss who coincidently runs motormarketuk and motorshopuk who you might like to know was called Craig (sorry i dont recall the last name, it was a good 6 months ago) screwed several colleugues over with their pay. Just so you know all the motor...uk are linked and they are all the same blooming scammers. Please if you recieve a call from the company just hang up. i myself recieved a lot abuse off of people we rang (obviously as we were cold callers) but the only reason i was there is because at the time there was NOTHOING else employment wise. To be honest without being bigheaded all of us there were far to smart to be working for such dumbasses, they should have been working for us at least then it would be legitimate!

Anyway hope thats shed some light on these companies, others to beware of are : cardata, motormarketuk, motorshopuk (of which i heard got done for fraud in july YESSSS) just be careful if it sounds too good to be true then it is!!!
