British Gas do seem to exspend a lot of energy on follow ups. I had started to book an engineer call out online but abandoned it half way through in favour of a call to their 0800 number. Having booked that I got a call on mobile (which they must have had on their records) within ten minutes referring to the online attempt and asking if they could help further. Then call from this number (not answered) on the landline within the hour. Good customer service or a bit OTT and on the verge of annoying?

Had a call from BG about an hour ago from another number trying to increase my insurance cover then just had a automated call from this number saying “you have a call ready to connect, press any key to continue”, so I pressed the END button.

Sorted.

my suggestion, take the survey give some reasonable marks mid range, to operator

but say, and have an excuse ready,( they will phone you back or e mail)  on other q's give  very poor and where there is a box to comment put leaving BGAS as feel ripped off expensive etc and they will trim your bill they did mine to tune of £200 a year.....
