Called me today. I picked up the phone and then it said I had dialled an incorect number! Muggy Dins.

Had  this  phone  number  call me  please tell  me  who  it  is  .

That's weird the exact same thing happened to me! Same name of the guy, same name of the company, same story about one of his commoeagues probably trying to reach me... freaky!!!

work agencies? I registered into two last week and this number started to call me. Before registration didn't have 'cold calling'.

So many complaints about these fools, surely they need to be penalised? I've just blocked the number on my mobile but why should people have to put up with this?

This number called me on my mobile - the only person apart from friends that I've given my mobile number to is BT when my landline went dead recently and had to report it via the Pay-as-you-go mobile.  I did not answer and will not answer any calls from numbers unknown.  Doesn't say a lot for BT, does it...

I just had the exact same call. Same man (Marcus). Same company (MJE) and same "Would have been one of my colleagues calling regarding financial matters". I just hung up as soon as he mentioned financial matters missold by my bank. I have no loans, no mortgages, i don't even have an overdraft so I knew it was dodgy to start with.

Maybe they are choosing phone numbers in random way.

I had this number call my mobile while I was out and about, I called it from my home phone when I got in to have someone gabble who they are and tell me it must have been one of his collegues who called me, then he went on to ask if I had had any credit loans, when I said, ' sorry, what is the name of your company?' I had the phone slammed down on me...dodgy or what1 There is no way I am going to give out details to a complete stranger, would like to know how they got my mobile number!

I have just had a missed call from this number. Tried calling it back and no answer. Just tried it again and before i could say anything a man shouted down the phone "wrong number!!". Not sure who it is. Hope they dont call me again thats for sure!!

Just had call from this number at work. When I answered it got "Sorry that is not a valid extension please try again." Sick of getting cold calls to my mobile especially when I am at work

Had a call from these guys, an automated service telling me I gave an "invalid extension" (Weird, I thought answering a phone with "hello" was the polite thing to do)
Anyway called back to a company called "mgm" (Possibly mis-heard) services for ppi claim backs, apparently Im on a financial register. In credit to them they removed my number from the listing without any trouble. So will have to see if its done or not!

My 15 year old daughter got a call from this number, how they got her number I don't know when I called them back (withholding my work number) a 'lovely' girl called Tracey answered as soon as I said hello she hung up so I tried again and again then eventually some idiot man answered but a soon as I started speaking he began to make ridiculous baby noises so this Time I hung up but not before calling him a w***ker (that was just to make myself feel better. Whatever so called company they are, they are extremely dodgy and downright rude

At 4:53 pm, I got a call from 01223901006 at first I thought it was a friend with a new phone and I was going to ring back but I wasn't sure cause I thought it was a prank or something do I didn't. Then I consulted my friend about it and she said I should ring back, and I was going to but I thought if I don't they have my number for good and know I'm gonna ring back again so I didn't. I have no idea how they got my number but I don't give my number to random people so I was a bit worried so I'm a little scared at the moment. I looked on here and it seems I'm not the only one and I'm guessing they are dodgy scammers or something with PPI. If they call don't ring back just ingnore and block the number,

I finally know how they get our numbers! For example: if your with T-mobile or any phone company, they can sell your mum too anyone and get money for it. If you don't have data protection( I think that's what its called) then anyone can get your number! And then the person they sell them to have a list of random numbers that they can ring.

Phone number I have  is only known by 2 people.How the Hell do these people get it and why isn't it punishable by death??

Said left message on voice mail - nothing there, so returned the call - silence!
