missed call on ringing 1471 (last number caller) 01234 was given ?

Just received a call from 01234. No other numbers. I didn't pick up.

Got a call from 01234.  Claimed to be from Easytalk (may be Eze-talk as there is a company called this)  Said they wanted to confirm details and would give £10 off line rental a month.  Only they wanted to confirm we still lived at our old address.  Sounds like a fraud.

This number calls several times every few days.  I don't pick up and when message machine kicks in a person, possibly with a foreign accent just repeatdly says hello.

Keep getting calls from this number starts with answer machine mesage then a person talking who can't understand.

I received a call from this number. I told the guy not to ring as I am not interested in cold calling. He said I owed £350.00 but he did not give the name of the company. He rang back 20 seconds later and he started with the personal questions. He was rude and so I hung up I checked and the number was 01234.

Just had a call from an 01234 number, they said they were from TalkTalk. When I told them the person that they wanted to speak to was no longer my partner he started asking me how long we had been together and if we had had plenty of sex!!

Keep getting calls from 01234 - no other numbers. Extremely annoying.

Had a call from 01234.  When I answered no one there.  They phoned again and I out on a man's voice and said "Hello'.  Lady who sounded as if she can from india asked to speak to me.  When I answered in my own voice she hung up.

This number (01234) calls around 8pm every night, and has done for the past week. When I answer, there is no one there, but the line stays open until I hang up. I have no idea who it is phoning, but it's getting very annoying.

i wonder if this is related to another number with the bedford area code 01234 864081.  these rang me
up when i said hello they banged the phone down, when i rang back it was a discontinued tone, then
it changed to a busy tone, then a recorded message came on and said this number is out of service
then it changed to just bleeping.

If you see 01234 just dont answer it...waste of space scammers

Got a call on 01234 today - 2nd time in 2 days - just got the 'number disconnected' tone from the other end both times - how come BT (or whoever) are allowing this to be done - surely it's easy to stop such calls being made in the first place - surely it should be easy for them to track down who's making the calls.

called me today so i picked up the phone said hello and just got laughing on the other end .so i put phone down tried to phone back and says this is not  a  number .

I too get a lot of calls from this number.  No idea who it is as get so fed up of all the various 'market research' companies usually with an Indian accent that we NEVER answer the phone but leave it to the  answer machine.  Friends and relatives know what we are doing - as the majority are doing the same - and that they have to speak and we'll pick the phone up (if at home of course).

Have had a few calls from 01234 or 0234, noone on the other end, getting to be a pain.

Just had a phone call for my partner from a company who refused to tell me who they were even when I said that I was his wife and I have permission on his behalf to tell any PPI company or similar that he is not interested. We began talking over eac hother as I was saying 'Do not ring again" and they put the phone down on me.

I 1471 - ed it and got the number then called it. The answer machine said that it was from Money Save Solutions.

I Googled it and the company did not fit the number.

I called the number, pressed 1 as instructed and it went dead. I did it a second time and it happened again.

If I get another then I will have it blocked by Virgin, in fact I will do that now.

I just got rang 5 times in a row after repeatedly hanging up of one of these numbers!! I Just hung up after i got some garbled hello in forgien accent! More than likely a fraud call!!
