Received several calls from this number.
Took a chance and called them back, selected option 2 to speak with someone. They are CapQuest, debt collection agency, looking to speak with someone i'd never heard of at an address nothing like mine! Was assured that my number would be "removed" from their system... we'll wait and see!!

I've had two calls from this number in the last three days. Each time ans 'automated woman' asks:  "Can I speak to {name of person}. If you are {name of person} please press 1" At this point I've just hung up and dialled 471. The named person has never lived here.

That's exactly what's  happened to me twice in the last three days.  Something similar happened to me with a different agency a few years ago when we got calls and letters naming a person who had lived at this address a few years earlier On that occasion we complained to the Financial Conduct Authority  (https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/how-complain) and the calls stopped

hi. i have had loads of calls from capquest asking for a person that i have never heard of thay have been ringing me constantly for the last 18 months i have told them ive never heard of this person this person has never lived at this address it stress me out  and thay want me to give them my personel deatails witch i refused one time the man got very narsty with me becouse i refused so a slamed the phone down

It is capquest calling for a £238 debt with orange.
They are not FAKE, if you really don't have a debt with them then send a recorded letter and ask for them to remove yourself as you are not who they are after, if that doesn't help then contact the financial ombudsman who deal with companies like these. If they really do have the wrong person they will stop once ombudsman gets involved.

Today they rang me and pretended to be a marketing firm.  Well as I'm terminally ill which I told her she still insisted on talking and kept asking for a minute of my time. WHAT A HEARTLESS   ????.

This company have tried to contact me on different numbers, each time block them, no debt so dont know why they are ringing, need to be dealt with

Called at 19.30 hrs and left no message.
