Just called this number back as I have been plagued with calls from them over the past week.  Told them I was on the Telephone Preference Service to be told "No I wasn't".  Erm Yes I am.  Been registered on it for the past 3 or so years to stop this.  Told him if he didn't remove me now I would be making a complaint...  He carried on insisting I wasn't on it so I ended up putting the phone down on him ....

Been getting this missed call since I had a home delievey from John Lewis, so suspect one of their staff of passing on & or selling  my address & phone number. No one has had this info together in months. JL Oxford street were dismissive of the my concern. Does anyone else suspect this source?

I have had 8 calls from this number the past few days, i have not answered but it is becoming a joke, why the harassment

Two missed calls from this number this morning. From past experience of this type of call just ignore them & eventually they seem to get bored & stop phoning.

This number has called me for the last 3 days including twice today.  I haven't answered it and they haven't left a message.  It's such a nuisance.  Thanks to this thread though as I know who is responsible for the calls now and that it's nothing important.  I'm on 02 PAYG and I'm really hacked off that someone thinks it's OK to sell my personal information.

i was getting calls from these muppets last november and when i found out they were tryin to have u ova i ignored it but they kept calling an calling, so i just answered the phone and left it on the side, i could hear them sayin "hello" "hello" but they got nothing off me then they hung up, i did this around 3times a day and eventually they stop'd calling me, but i have in the last 2 days now had a few calls off them again, so i am doin the same thing, jog on guys u'll not get any joy with me.......terraahhhhhhh!!!!!

no skin off my nose to answer the phone an say nowt, it worked last time an i'm sure it'll work again..

its a p*ss take though that i've had a contract with Orange for around 8years now yet all of a sudden these muppets are ringing me asking if i want any deals, listen if i wanted a "great deal" i'd ask 4 it now F off!!!!!

this number came up  as missed call on my mobile.  Just before that I had a message to return a text message from an accident claims group (not had an accident!!!)  It requested me to text back STOP if I did not want to be contacted.

Two calls on house phone today also from a consumer research group and they where very rude when I said not interested.  Withheld number on both calls on house phone

Wasting their time as my mobile is a company on Vodaphone

I was rang on this number on Tuesday 15th Feb 2011 around midday. I rang them back up that evening, spoke to a polite guy called Sam Rowe, and asked to be taken off their database and informed him I was registered with TPS and they were liable to a fine for calling me. He assured me he'd taken me off their system and gave me an email address to send a complaint to. I asked where they'd got my number and he said it was confidential.

I was then rang again the next morning. I rang them back that evening, kicked up a fuss and told the guy "Alex" that I had spoke to Sam Rowe the day before, and was assured my number was no longer on the database. He apologised, said Sam was a new member of staff and didn't know what he was doing (I responded by asking why the company was employing people who didn't know how to do their job). When I asked Alex for his surname, he refused to give me his second name (he kept avoiding the question), and issued me with the same email address as before. I said "let's assume I don't have email", and Alex said there was no other way of contacting them. I asked for a company address and he said he couldn't give me that.

I was then rang again the next morning. So, again, I rang them back in the evening, spoke to a guy called Jamie and asked immediately to speak to his manager. I spoke to one of the 10 Sales Managers, "Kush", and explained I had complained twice before and was still being rung. He apologised and said as a manager he could take me off directly, and that he would do it straight away. I asked if I could be promised I would not be rang again, and he said yes, I would not hear from them again. I was given the same email address as before, so I said I do not have email. He gave me the telephone number 08433733333 instead.

20 minutes later they rang my phone again. I answered, was told about the exclusive offer, and I responded by asking for Kush. I said it was Ed Clarke, and that he'd know who it was. I spoke to Kush and he explained it was only the 2nd time in 3 years that he had requested the number be taken off the system, and for that number to be rang again.

We laughed and exchanged pleasantries and I am looking forward to another call from these idiots tomorrow. I am preparing my 4th complaint.

I've had two missed calls from this number and I'm not going to call back after seeing these posts. I'm with Orange now and was with 3 before - so no doubt they still have my details. They can ring me for the next 3 years if they like - I'll still not answer. They're wasting their energies even dialling my number - so good luck to them!

Had numerous amounts of phonecalls from this number over the past few weeks starting to annoy me now, I don't answer just decline the call straight away.

Had this number call me on my mobile during the day, but as I did not know the number I did not answer

My 16 year old daughter is being pestered into taking out a contract. When she hangs up, they call her back. This has to stop

keep getting calls from this number .ringing me all the time. Have had to put it on reject as I believe it is a scam

This number has just called me. I am on 3 and have a contract. They said they were calling from 3 and asked if I was on 3, contract or PAYG.

So I turned round and said "Well if you are calling from 3 you will have all my details on your database so you tell me!"

He went quiet for a second and then said "your not on our system looks like we need to get it updated" and asked if there was anyone else I could think of interested in their deals. I said no.

This number called me a good few years ago and I fell for it and went right through with a contract and a phone and gave them my account details. Cancelled my account and opened a new one a day later. Needless to say the phone never arrived and never heard anything about the payment bouncing - luckily they didn't get any money from me.

IT IS A CON!!!! DON:T TRUST THEM! Theya re trying to seel you a completely new bogus contract and a phone you will never get!

Can any one honestly say they have gone with this company and received a phone and a contract? If no one replies I rest my case!
