Got yet another call from 3G today on this number. 3 calls now in 2 days, very annoying. I don't bother answering it now, just saved it along with a few others to a contact in the phone called "Do Not Answer" in case I forget!

This number has called me 8 times in the last 4 days.

27/3 at 15.46

28/3 at 9.53 11.03 15.42 16.24

29/3 at 9.09 and 9.40

I carry a mobile for MY convenience, not so that somebody can pester me non-stop. How do I stop it?

Yes it is carmarthen and when do you NOT know a call centre from anywhere that wasn't legit? just because they are from Wales and you are in england does not make it a scam, Ever called Dell? that's India So are some of Oranges services, They also have a centre in Newcastle. Now that would suck if I couldn't call them because I'm in Wales wouldn't it?!!?!?!
A phone numbers ( thankfully unlike some humans ) don't care about borders. It appears you are not intelligent when it comes to call centres.

Also it is 3 not 3G they are calling on belhalf of. ( or so they tell you )3G is one of the frequencies phones work on.!!
Although 3 won't actually know who they are 3 will have given permission. I used to get the same thing from a company for orange. ( I was already with orange ) and I took the deal as it seemed reasonable. It was fine and Orange honered the contract.

Yes it is annoying. Tell them like stated before you sign up to TPS and to take your number off the list. That should stop them.

Or you can do what I now do and just answer it. if it's an annoying company just keep the call connected and go make a cup of tea and just leave it. They will hang up and usually stop calling.

keep ringing my mobile, not sure why they keep on doing it as I don't answer anon calls are blocked...waste of time and 02 should stop them.

Just got call from this number. They asked about home insurance and claimed I've got some damage. When I said I haven't got any home insurance and actually rent a room they asked about TV or laptop damage. I just said I haven't got anything. Then they said Sorry! I even not from England and have bought this SIM for while I'm here for few weeks visiting my friends.

They are very random on calls had a call 2 times within 24 hrs, the last time they called was last march!
If you call back, you get some very overly jolly answer machine, if you press 2 and 2 again, you can be added to there do not call list.
It is something about house insurance, best answer is, try get them to buy some of you're stuff! They wouldn't but my old washing machine thou, the losers!

Called today on my mobile - never give my mobile number out so no idea how they got that! Asked about my house insurance - told him it was none of his business but he persisted with asking about whether I pay monthly or annually. Told him it was not due for renewel till December so he said to have a nice day and rang off :-)

Im on orange it was 3 Mobile asking me to swich.

This number has called me on my mobile 12 times in the last 2 weeks (4 on the same day). I am finding it really intrusive as they are calling at all times of the day. I DON'T WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU and that's why I'm not answering. I'm having to change my number and I'm really fed up. Why can they be allowed to do this?

Had a few missed calls off the number, decided to answer some young man said they worked for Payment Shield and offered me a quote on home insurance, I accepted and they did beat my current policy but decided not to take it out anyway

I've received numberous calls from 01267244808 over the last couple of weeks which I've so far ignored but I finally got sick today so rang them back to tell them I wasn't interested, the lad on the other end of the phone was extremely pushy & when I asked him where he got my number his response was "we work with all the major networks madam" this has to be a scam, yes he correctly identified that I am with Vodafone & that I'm due an upgrade soon but couldn't even tell me my name, address etc so I'm not convinced that Vodafone have sold my number to them, I'd like to find out if they have though so if anyone can tell me how I would find out it would be appreciated, I'm doubtful that Vodafone would admit to doing such a thing?

keeps calling my O2 mobile number...very annoying
