Annoying calls which are silent when answered.

Had a call from this number, answered it and line went dead. tried to re-call via 1471. Answered with an automated reply putting on hold for 10 minutes then line went dead. No idea who it is!!!!

Call from 01274 925390 picked up, silence. I called back but no person there, just a robot telling me my call was important to them and I was next in the queue to be answered. After 6 minutes, they hung up. My call it seems was not that important at all!

I had exactly the same thing - a "silent" phone call from this number today. 01274 seems to be the Bradford / Bingley / Shipley area code, that's all I know. Very annoying.

I had a call from them this morning, rang it back, and it was some company wanting to help me clear my credit card debts which the credit card company shouldnt have let me have (like those mis sold payment protection polices you see on the telly I suppose.)

Funny that, I have never even HAD a credit card! Also, my telephone number is registered with the telephone preference service, so they shouldnt even be cold calling me.

Sounded like an Asian gentleman.

Had a call from this dialled 14713 got this message  "the number you have dialed is not in service please check the nuber again before redialling"  ????

Just had a call from this number, (April 12, 1135hrs) answered it and there was nobody there. Tried to re-call via 1471, but was answered with a recorded message (female American accent) saying that the number was not in service. Muppets!

Constantly phone me sometimes 4 times a day. No answer when i lift handset. No idea who it is.

had a call from this person, silent call but had classical music playing for about 10 minutes then told me ' to wait on the line for another agent ' and more music played. ?

I keep getting calls from this Number but as soon as I pick up the phone, it goes dead.

This number has called here several times today, (aswell as other days), caller display shows it beginning with 44.. which would suggest it's someone calling from abroad? It doesn't ring for long and I don't answer it!!

Calls from this number also 08446882753 also01210 today.  How can we stop them?

This number has rung my home phone a number of times,  just three rings and then if answered the line goes dead.

I have had at least two calls per day from this number this week. I have managed to track this number to this organisation: http://www.magratheatelecom.co.uk/. who are a telecommunications company. I have spoken to their customer services people who inform me that all  though this number is one of theirs it may not necessarily be one of their customers and could be someone using a number for illicit purposes. If you ring them they will start an investigation through the company which the number may be registered to. The more people that ring them the more likely they are to do something about it.

Over the last 3 days I have had around 20 calls from this number, each time they hang up when I answer, tried calling back once and it went to "on hold" music!!!!

We were called by 01274 925390 but the line cleared when we answered.  I called back but the number wasn't recognised at all.

I keep getting calls from this number, at least 2 or 3 times a day, as others when it's answered, there's no one there
