Called 3 times in last 24 hours. My answering machine ALWAYS picks up on unknown numbers, whoever this is just hangs up. They won't bother me again, I've blocked the number.

Had 4 calls in last 24 hours. Nobody there when I answer. On redial it said the National hearing centre - can't find out anything about it on Internet.

Been ringing me on and off for two days keep hanging up. Eventually spoke to introduce themselves, Definately not a local accent, Newcastle accent but doncaster dialing code. I told them where to go.

Just had this number call (coincidentally I live in Doncaster) - but I never pick up the phone.  Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe.  My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then put the phone down.  When you hear it, dial 1471 to see who's called, and you can call back the non-lowlife human beings that you know.  When you dial 1471 on a strange number where the call tone has gone on forever, you can then note down the number and Google to see what scum has tried to get you to allow them to waste your time and stress you out to boot.  I am finding that a good 95% and more calls are in this category.  One day I’m going to live in a world where all such useless lowlifes are sent to a remote planet in outer space and quarantined there.

My mum has just received a call from this number asking for my dad by his first name. My dad passed away over a year ago!!!! when my mum asked who was calling they hung up. We live in Doncaster and this is a Doncaster code.

I live in Doncaster also so I picked it up to a woman in a Liverpool accent asking for me by first name and then put the phone down. PITA. Just seen all these notices on the internet about national hearing centre..
Nuisance!!!!!!!! They should be prosecuted.

Get calls several times a day asking for Mrs cannon. on redial it claims to be national hearing centre and says they are unable to take your call right now. Need reporting

Yes they do need reporting, so have you reported them?  Use the Information Commissioner's website, it only takes minutes and, under the new law which came into forcein April they, and their CEO, can be fined up to £500,000.

On Holiday in Llandudno so answered this call as we are from Doncaster. Some silly girl started asking about an accident  to my car in 2014 which was Parked with no one in it when runaway vehicle hit it. She said it didn't matter about that if I would say so they would make a claim for me. When I said no her words were " that's stupid we could all make some Money" so I gave her a load of expletives and she hung up. they are trying to persuade people to commit Insurance Fraud.
