HAD A CALL YESTERDAY AND AGAIN TODAY FROM THIS NUMBER - I HUNG UP BEFORE ANYONE COULD SAY ANYTHING - HAVE A CALLER DISPLAY AND THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT A REGULAR PHONE NUMBER !

Scam email says the number is natwest bank secure email help desk - I suspect it is not

Call from 013154587682 Indian/Asian lady said she was calling from microsoft to sort out a fault on our computer - not able to tell me what the fault was - only that I had to log into their site and give access to our computer. Asked her to give me my e-mail address or service provider name, this she could not do, thenshe hung up!!!!!!!! Now added this number to our barred list

Got a call from 01315100072 from Indian woman and man saying they are from Microsoft to checking on my computer. They tried to make me lock my computer. I asked them what the purpose of this call, they couldn't give me answer, then hang up. It definitely a scam.

Had a call from Indian sounding male, who said he was from Microsoft windows security.  He asked if I was on my computer and told me to press different keys to get the security problem sorted.  My computer was not 'switched-on' but I tried to let him think it was by pretending to carryout some of the actions he was telling me to do.  When I challenged his status he said he was James Batterson (or Bratterson), working in Belfast and his phone number was 01315 700072.

The telephone number given in my previous message could be the same as Rooster's, which is 01315100072.

Why does this number persist. I don't answer it anymore as when I have there is nobody at the other end.

Had a scam call tonight (supper time of course!) from a company based in Edinburgh, going by the name of "Scottish Household Intelligence"..believe it or not!  The caller got only the first three words out before I stopped him in his tracks to question him on how he happened to have my number!..."your on our database"..came back the obvious and worn out reply!

I then informed him that apart from the fact that we are X-Directory and on the "Preference Listing" for NOT receiving "any" marketing calls.  We only had the number allocated 3 weeks ago by BT, after suffering many months of time wasting and exhausting sales calls to our previous telephone number (approx 150 calls per month), ranging from 9am to 9pm, 24/7, including bank holidays!

I had only said to my wife an hour before receiving this call, how nice it was not to get these calls anymore!..I spoke too soon I guess!.. The law should be taking firm action to prevent these companies from making unsolicited calls..period!..or make them pay serious compensation to the victims of their persistent and unwarranted sales calls.

Anyway, I guess we still have the option to have the phone removed and settle for the mobile phones!...anything for a bit of piece and quiet from these so called "sales companies"!!!

I've had 6 phone calls in 3 days, posing as different electrical and energy companies under the number 0131 516 9017. They insist on trying to ask questions about my type of house and when I say not interested they reply 'what are you not interested in?' and say 'do you know how our process works?' and rubbish like that.  When you phone that number back you get an answering machine for Scottish Household Intelligence. Interesting that this company who want to spend lots of money on my house have no web site online or any other information except complaints about their unwanted calls. If they phone again I intend to tell them that I live in a garden shed to see how they react or that a relative is a DI in Strathclyde Police.

For those who get those calls about your computer having a problem, tell them you don't have one, then follow up by telling them you don't have a phone. The baffled silence you get when you say you have no phone really is funny. It totally confuses them!

Had a Call from this number yet again 01315614532   this happens frequently but I'm usually out and miss them

No it isn't.  The area code for Edinburgh is 0131.

got a call on my answer phone from a call I did not know it was 01315614532 just interested to know where the call came from

Repeated calls from Nr. 01315595200002. Weird accent and instead of answering simple questions like what they want or Why the heck are they bothering me all the time it was disconnected. Till the next call.

I've had 8 calls today... I don't say a word the receiver goes down their end.. recorded messages start when u speak
