this number called me a few times, does anyone know anything about this number.

this number has called me about 7 times so far today any idea who it is ...?

its the ear nose and throte dep. in laurinstin buildings.

It's the blood donor centre / apheresis centre, in Lauriston.  If they're phoning you, you're probably a donor.

this number does not take incoming calls...who is calling me???

this number has just called me and didnt leave a voicemail, i tried to call it back but they dont accept incoming calls? any ideas yet who it is? oh and i am not a donor and dont go to ear nose and throat department? thanks

Received a phone call this evening from that number. It is Lauriston Buildings, it was an appointment reminder for the dental institute

Its lauriston building defo, could be anything to do with things there like if u donate blood, if ur a donor, if u have been to the gum clinic etc

Dermatology dept in this building also use this line.

Who is this, why do they call and never leave a message and when I return the call why does their number never accept calls?

That number is one for the NHS in Lauriston Buildings, Edinburgh.  It could be anyone of several departments from the Blood Donors to the Eye Pavilion and with NHS-run community projects (as in my case) in between.  

The reason they do not accept return calls is most likely because the number is that of a switchboard and if you do not know WHO called you then you cannot ask for the right person to be connected with.  Even if there were a switchboard operator, which there probably is not.

You'd be advised to answer it as they do not make unsolicited calls to time-waste.  There is most likely a very valid reason.  The only reason I have picked "unknown" as the call type is because there is no category for "personal/business call".

My landline number has been called twice to-day, no one on line, and the number does not accept incoming calls. Does anyone have any ideas.

I had a call from this number and it was the Chalmers Street Sexual Health Clinic.  I think the number must be for all the NHS departments up at Lauriston.

It kept gettin calls from this no and it was the Chalmers Street Clinic.

This number called and got my landline answerphone. They did not leave a message.

If it was a legitimate call - they would leave a message!
