Received a call from this number yesterday (19th January) at 1.49 pm. I thought it was a strange number, but this is what was recorded on the 1471 service. Caller hung up when I answered.

I answered this 5:30pm 6//8/12  and spoke to someone with an Indian accent who knew my surname but wanted to confirm my address, postcode etc so I could avoid future sales calls - very suspicious. Told him to just remove me completely and they have not rang back since.

had two calls today.Told the first one not to call back again...they did. This time they had my address and post code incorrect so I answered their questions incorrectly.  Last question are you happy for us to keep on calling you again....NO!

They claimed to be from UK Savers Club but they don't know the UK phone number.  Let them spend their money by answering their questions with false answers or you will be bombarded with yet more calls regarding PPI etc.

I have been receiving calls by the score from 001 numbers of late.  When I asked them to stop calling I received an abusive call from the same number.....and several calls where they just gigled on the other end of the line.  Now what a surprise I am  receiving calls from 01316 numbers.....as per the previous posts when I answered they hung up.

I must get up to 3/4 times a day a call from this number 01316 205808 infact today is the 2nd one, they ring and never leave a message after listening to my voicemail,  its getting beyond a joke now!  Thank goodness for my call blocker phone from BT, bet buy I ever made....  at least I never have to asnwer the stupid phone calls, my phone does it for me & No I do not work for BT or anyone come to that!

I keep getting calls from this number, usually during the daytime when I have been at work. A call through this morning (Saturday). When I answered they hung up without speaking.

That just happened to me hung up when I answered. So annoying.

01316080706 hung up as soon as I answered phone. Obviously checking someone will pick up then passing to their cold call department - or selling my number on.

This call came from a company saying I'd had a car accident which is not true, i asked where they'd got this information she said it had been passed to them after asking for the details where she'd got this from she hung up!

Said calling about  £600 sent abroad from my credit card  contact them to verify .......... not true so did not connect to them

Unknown number to me, so I blocked it. I wish something could be done to stop these people from annoying us.

I never answer as no message is left .just infuriating and disruptive
