Got a call at 16:00 from this number. Woman saying she was from the 'energy saving programme' (?) there seems to be nothing on Google about this; however the COMMUNITY energy saving programme ended in 2012, as stated on the ofgem website.

Asked for a Mrs Cunningham (not me!) at an address I've never lived at. Very odd.

You find out by talking to them and arranging a visit if itis rewally that bad. Best just to get word in edgeways that you report nuisance sales calls to TPS, OFCOM and ICO. Block them if you have callerID and compatible box or telephone to do that.

I have indication enough to place a good bet. I have been receiving calls from the same Scottish boiler scrappage/energy survey/cleaning company numbers as the poster named Fred Boats. The last company incarnation has a petition to strike off company register at the moment.The company owner served many years for robbery and last appeared in court on 2nd March this year.
In short, just block or ignore as they don't have the auto dialling gear to do daily calls.

Really sad that we can't trust a Glasgow number anymore. Blocked.
