3 rings no one speaks and hangs up

This company (duotool) don't seem to understand that I do not wish repeated sales calls offering to sell me 50,000,000 1/2" screws with a free toothpick.
Every time they call I tell them I do not wish any futher contact but does it work??

Duotool (part of tool station) generally ring me constantly for a few days every three or four months, I bought some tools from Tool Station years ago when I was self employed. When i stopped being self employed 5 years ago I told them the next time they rang I no longer need their stuff!! They still try and push £500 worth of stuff and £1,000,000 worth or free stuff on me every time they ring, i now have thier number bared from me mobile!!

I also found some of their tele staff rude and pushy.

They have called us a few times now and are beginning to be a pain.  Told them we do not want to buy from them but they don't seem to get the message.
They called me at our office number this morning to 'see if I was in' and said they'd call back as they wanted to discuss a possible purchase.  Told them I couldn't help them, but they've just rung back again. I let the answering machine pick up the call but they hung up. Very pushy!

Duo tools insist on calling us constantly even though they have been told on several occasions not to call back as we do not wish to deal with such a pushy and aggresive sales team.
Have had enough of these calls now. Is there anywhere to report this?

I don't know if you guys are talking about the same company I am Duotool Ltd in Glasgow???
I have dealt with them for years coming on 4 years in fact, I have always found them very forth coming
in helping me even sourcing me products they don't sell themselves that I was needing.
Even on the odd occasion the order was wrong on delivery it has been fixed generally within 2 or 3
working days I think that you should give them a chance. Everybody makes mistakes we are only human.

First time I bought from DuoTool I thought I got a good deal, second time very poor value for money.

I don't recomend dealing with this company, unless you are 110% sure of what they are offering

Duotool call me 6 - 7 times aday to try and sell me there products,I have told them we do not need there products or phone calls but they keep on calling regardless.....................

dont know how they got my mobile number, but this is def a caller i dont want. GO AWAY!

They have just started calling me again after having nothing from them for at least 6 years and they stopped calling me 3 years ago. I just send the busy tone as no point talking to them they don't take any notice when you say you not interested and try to sell you more stuff you don't need

got a missed call from them too at 5.19pm, i have told them to remove my number from there data base on 5 or 6 occasions, i guess they decided to ignore my simple request.

give them a chance? there only human and make mistakes??? what a load of tosh... there a bunch of ignorant c***s who harass market to people, they dont listen to anyone and dont remove any details as asked and requested, they sell crap, over expensive crap...remember there are laws about this type of harassment & yes it is harassment, lets see how they behave after they receive an affidavit and fee schedule, final warning letter, and if they or you think they wont care or wont be bothered about it, then go read some law and see how wrong you are...

nooo! Duotool used to call us frequently years ago trying to flog their 'bargain priced' products with 'special offer freebies' thrown in to tempt you. we fell for it the 1st time, never again as the quality is very poor. we must have told them a hundred times we weren't interested & made it clear why, quite aggressive with their sales calls. along with others, looks like we're back on the sales rota again...deep joy!

Sounds like you need a call blocker, that's what we did as we got fed up of time wasting calls and now add anyone to the little box to stop nuisance calls

Duotool, had really rubbish tools from them once, fell apart just over a year old, argued about it, told them never to approach me again. Still did for a long time then gave up but its started all over again.
Previously I rang this 01413000100, but rang the other number 01358724153.number and complained, he stated Duotool and said they always use withheld numbers but I block all withheld calls! Probably why they used a normal number to ring me.
For my job Im expressly told not to cold call by phone or viisting people who have not expressly asked for my services as stated by trading standards, so why should these get away with it to individuals and sole-traders much against the UK MPS/TPS/FPS service. These services just dont have the teeth to act against these tele pests. I ring them back with 141-number so they have no idea who, give them my opinion and sit the phone face down for a minute! As these are in mobile inclusive minutes, I get some satisfaction holding thier lines open wasting their time while they try to keep talking to me...

Duotool call me repeatedly despite me asking each time to be taken from their database. The sold to me once about six years ago. Goods were not as described and I sent them back, asking to never hear from them again. They now ring every few days- last thing on a Friday is favourite. On Wednesday I said I had asked 7 times to be removed from database. Still tried to sell me stuff- are they very thick in that area of Scotland? Told them I would get on to information commissioner the last 3 times. Last guy said some reps had their own database of customer numbers so that was why calls kept coming. Hopefully they will brass off everyone in UK and go bust. P45 and goodbye

Go to this site and download the draft letter which the law allows you to send to any Company making such a nuisance of themselves      www.stopjunkmail.org.uk/guide/tools/data-protection-notice.pdf      Send the letter to the registered office of the Company concerned.    It stops them holding your details or using them for Sales or Marketing.    It applies equally to phone calls because continuing to "hold" your personal details is an offense even if they stop using them.

If they continue to pester you after 28 days from receiving the Notice from you, your local Court will help you take action against them.  

I have yet to find a Company that was prepared to continue calling after receipt of the Notice.   The law is on OUR side.    Use it.
