This is debt collectors, they have been calling my number for years asking for a  female name who lived here over 7 years ago before I bought this house. They do not know your name or your post code until you tell them, I strongly advise any one dont tell them it has been strongly suggested these are scammers. They still call me for someone else after 7 years IDIOTS

They call me everyday and I never pick up the phone before my friend had the same problem she pick up the phone and they was very rude for them because she dont want tell her lst name.Best way is DONT PICK UP

A woman called. I barely understood what she was saying but she wanted to check my address ....something in regards to my bank account. I told her the bank I'm working with and said that they are notifying me if I need to check or change anything. Insisted to call me back but I declined. Hope not to hear from them again....though I doubt it.

Can't believe you gave them the name of your Bank.  You will get furthee calls which will ask for other little bits of information which seem innocuous on their own.  However, they are slowly buildiing up all the information they need to raid your bank account.  To date hey have your name, your address and the name of your bank, so they are doing quite well.  No-one with any sense would give out information like this to a cold caller.  i suggest you contact your Bank and tll them your account may have been compromised.

This number is a debt collector called Zinc. They call me usually twice a day  Monday/Friday, they want a female who lived in this house before I bought it.  I never answer I see the number on the caller display,  have  answered, but they would not listen. I gave them the last known address for the female they was asking for. Looks like very bad mannered Scots just looking for  to get into some kind of an argument. They do not listen dont  answer them.

have called me today and left a message, quoting a ref number and to ring back before 4pm on another number 01789 405056.

Right... very annoyed that this company called me on my mobile at 9am promptly right after Christmas - in relation to a bill from Spark, an electricity supplier. I only received this bill before Christmas, and since it amounts to £98 for just two months occupation of our current house (and for which I immediately applied to transfer to British Gas), I want and intend to query it. Therefore outraged that they passed it to a Debt Collector so quickly. Whatever their case (which I will dispute), this leap to debt collection seems unreasonably jumping the gun..!!!

Called but wouldn't disclose any information until I gave some personal details. Don't think so! I hung up.

Got a phone call this morning, they say they are calling on behalf of zinc group,  I was going to ring them back, just read comments saying that it's a scam, I won't be ringing them back. Just like the emails I've been getting for tax return you end up giving your bank details and they debit your account, I won't be ringing them.

Received a call from this number Zinc group they also texted me from mobile number 07860026741 then they emailed me telling me to contact them as I had not kept up my payments I agreed to??? .  I have no idea how they got my phone number or my email,  I called them and turns out the debt was for a linda forbes in Salford Manchester, not myself Glasgow, he couldn't answer when I asked why they have my mobile number and  email address.  He then told me just to forget it!  Something not quite right there.

just received a call from these people, they are ringing about partners vodaphone mobile phone, i helped him because hes had debts similar to other comments here, totally sick of it, vodafone want a serious kick up the bum, i think these are serious people to avoid, they ask for your details? wouldnt they have them?

Had a call from them no answer when called back.
They left no message on answer phone .
Please speak and identifie them selves as i wish no more calls.

I'm having exactly the same issue with this and Spark Energy. I got the keys to a property that I didn't move into until a month later after the start of my tenancy, so no energy had been used. Spark was the previous tenants' supplier but I immediately transferred to another company, who took over a few days before I physically moved in. Spark claimed I used almost £70 worth of energy during the period I wasn't even there! Even with my complaint – and a supporting letter from the landlord confirming start and end readings that hadn't shifted – Spark is still chasing phantom costs for phantom energy. That company is a complete scam artist, desperate for customers and should any leave, it tries penalising them with fabrication. Awful, AWFUL, unethical business.

Just ignore if it's not in your address book. Absolute pests.

i have got this call in the morninng and i knew it was scamp
