I was called by a Scottish gentleman (and I use the term loosely) Monday evening who said his name was Graham Campbell and claiming to be from American Express. He was asking for personal information, obviously, I gave none, have reported all details to American Express and also the Police, who were most interested.

This number calls me, and I always try to call it back but its ALWAYS busy!

the next time they call im gonna answer it quickly.and  im gonna swear some bad words at them , they are ignorant ba****ds pestering our peace like this

This number keeps calling me and I wish to report it.  Can somebody point me in the right direction - Thanks!

I have had several calls from this number in the last few weeks, seeing the posts if may be orange my contract is up in a few weeks is it them?

This is Orange, calling back after I asked them to, in order to transfer my broadband to them.

This lot claim to be American Express.....but then admit to be marketing on their behalf, about fraud prevention and identity protection - how ironic - I didn't give them my details so did Amex?

I doubt it - and have challenged Amex - I await their response.

KEEP getting these calls and have now reported them to Ofcom.

Am totally fed up of them calling......everyday for over a month......you'd think they'd get the message after this long.....I don't want to talk to them

hi guys i currently work for orange on the regrades campaighn customers that have broadband we are offerering them to come over for their line rental as we give it cheaper i work in glasgow it is hard gets frustrating that nobody will talk and let you do your job

I receive the same, on a mobile 'phone, whilst overseas.  Very annoying: I don't bother to answer them.

The calls are from American Express in Scotland offering a new service, blah, blah.  If they don't get an actual conversation from you, (i.e. voicemail doesn't count), then your number goes on to the bottom of the list to be retried a fortnight or so later.  The call to me just now was at BST 18h40 but usually about 20h00.  To their credit the Scottish Amex agent was polite and left things as is when I said "No thanks".
Based on previous posts, maybe it's a general telemarketing company they work for who just happened to be doing Amex work this week.

I have just turned the tails on this company. I have taken details and will report to Trading Standrads for misreprsentaion by their staff. Theor 'Scottsh Lady' Janice Cassidy initially insisted she was working for Orange when pressed she said she was a call centre for City Park Teachnology- I asked to speak to a supervsior Michael Cassidy whi said he was from Orange. When pressed he said City Park Technology working on behalf of Optima who were working for Orange. I have just changed to Orange Broadband and I believe my details have been sold to this scam call centre - how else would they have got my details. I believe the manner in which they misrprsent themslvs is a disgrace.
I suggst everyine should inform them they are being recirded and pass info to trading standrads.

Amex offering Amex essentials insurance cover, finished one call and as soon as I hung up it called back again

I,m on holiday in Turkey and around the same time over the last 2 days this number has rang me. Cos of costs of answering abroad I,ve not answered bit they've caused me concern. Glad to know who it is now....I,ll carry on ignoring the b.....ds!

Constant calls, 2-3 times a day, very annoying, if that important, leave a message, grrrrrr!
Stop with the calls

Fraudulant call from a cretin called 'Rich Winder' from a company apparently called 'City Park Technology' based in Glasgow. Initially purported to be from American Express and asked for personal details but turned out to be fraudulent. Had been calling me daily for weeks; nothing if not persistent.

I got a call from this number and they said they were from american express merchant services... so not who they say they are judging by the other posts here...
