Had a call on my mobile saying he was from Eon Next and asking for my husband. I told him that I usually deal with the bills etc. but he wanted to speak to my husband (his name is on the account) so he is going to ring back in an hour or so to speak to him.  Now I have looked up the number I will be sure to listen in, especially as Eon only has the landline number, pity he didn't ring on that because all the calls are recorded.  Another website has messages from people saying it is a smart meter scam and the surprise was that the number had been looked up over 67,000 times!

Said that my meter had expired and needs replacing.  Told him categorically that I don't want a Smart Meter and that I was switching energy companies and they could decide.
