It's the RAC, nice lady called to check on an accident recovery they just done for me making sure all was ok and advised that legal advice was part of the policy.

I had an RAC guy come out to a breakdown Friday last week and had several calls from this number it's RAC legal team and after me telling them 4 times I didn't have an accident just a breakdown they continue to call.

RAC called me - earlier breakdown follow up.

my car broke down and was towed home.. Horrible RAC legal lady keeps phoning to say my car was in an accident and small print in contract does not cover accidents, jjust breakdown.. Trying to rip me off for a further payment of £180

This number has rung me incessantly for the last 2 weeks and also texting asking me to call them back! Received an answer phone message on Sunday with a very dodgy sounding lady called Joan explaining that 'a lady had found my lost wallet containing my RAC card! ' Apparently she had contacted RAC with my details to try and relocate me with my lost wallet! 2 interesting points - I have NEVER been a member of RAC and have not lost a wallet for about 15 years! What a scam! I really hope nobody has ever fallen for this and actually called them back! Infuriating! Also will never join RAC following this!

This number has called me several times, i've seen people stating that it's the RAC , but I dont even drive so how they have my details is beyond me....!!

Haha. No, it's not he RAC. It's a phishing scam. Do not give them any information. When 3rd parties are used by your breakdown insurer information can be leaked by them...next time, you could request that an actual RAC van be sent...

It will be the real RAC. They have a horribly aggressive sales policy and will use any means to harass you - customer or not. I made the mistake of using them for a year. Nothing but a plague of upscales calls etc. They are an awful company. I will never, ever use them again.

It is the RAC. AS part of Barclays Premier Legal helpline they subcontract to RAC legal. That number rang me and it was a callback from the legal team, as promised.

I don't know if this is the RAC or not. All I know is that they're effing annoying. I don't normally answer these calls, but this time I thought I would. I thought it'd be a good way of putting an end to these nuisance calls. Obviously I was wrong, because they hung up as soon as I said "hello". They're so effing blocked!!

Well, i am waiting for the RAC to call me back, this number has tried twice, my phone has call minder on it, so it goes dead, but i phoned it back, my handset said Barclays, SO I AM SERIOUSLY CONFUSSED!
yes i bank with Barclays, so its all up in the air as to who it is, but hey, they will phone back

I didn't answer, but if it is due to car insurance then they're out of luck, as I don't drive, or own a car!

I was called from this number offering a renewal for £8.50 deposit wanting all my security details.

Just had a call from this number. Not surprised it is the RAC again as I've had bad experiences with their incessant phoning in the past. Really puts me off using them.

RAC called me re my account. We have never been with RAC. When I told him this, he asked when I cancelled the account!  I put the phone down.
